Re: Help on wiper motors.

Microwave oven motor perhaps? I cheated on my coin pusher when I found a Flippa Winna motor in an arcade that I did bits for.

Aristocrat Esprit Parts

Hi, I've recently found an Aristocrat esprit Bingo Clickety Click in a junk shop, but I could do with some parts: Firstly I'm looking for the reel glass bezel and also some new 10p slides and slidetop, pillars too? the awards are 20p, 60p, £1, £1.50 (maybe old 5p slides will work?). Any help would b...

Re: A few little gems

thank you, no it was my design. it started as a scribble on a cigarette packet in a motorway service station well over 10 years ago, and i used to work in the gaming industry, so i had a bit of experience with pushers, but mainly fruit machines. i left the industry in 2005

Re: Aristocrat Kingsway Quartette

Many thanks for the offer. Sorry I gizumpt you (I think that's how you spell it!). I came in last 10 seconds with a £200 bid as it looked decent. I would have been quite cross if I had bought it for this much!!!!!!! I would appreciate a copy of the reels, thank you very much. Will send you a pm. Reg...

Re: Aristocrat Kingsway Quartette

Hi again all, I posted a question about reel bands for the Aristocrat Kingsway Quartette last night, but the post seems to have gone AWOL. (Posts now restored above - Site Admin). After buying this dog off ebay the other night (woof!), I am most keen to get it brand new as soon as possible. The chro...

Re: Aristocrat Kingsway Quartette

Hi treefrog Thank you for your kind reply. the chrome is really good and so it should be as the whole machine is caked in oil for some bizarre reason which has preserved it over the years!!!!! I don't suppose you still have a copy of the reel tapes for your three reeler that you can email please? i ...

Re: CAM AUTOMATICS?

I thought it was just my machine, but the wiring in these is appalling. It is like a birds nest.... I am tempted to gut it and build a microprocessor to control the game with a universal hopper payout. Then you could run it on any denomination. Something nice like a PIC 16F874 would look nice drivin...

Re: CAM AUTOMATICS?

If a machine is too tight, people don't play it, and if it pays out too much, then it's boring. The happy medium is a tricky one.

Re: CAM AUTOMATICS?

Yeah, I've just taken some. It doesn't work yet, will have a look at this machine next. It doesn't have GPO Strowger Uniselectors in it, just motorised cams and the wiring is horrendous for what it does! .... Just rebuilding a Jubilee International at the moment. It used to be a Pot Black machine, b...

Re: CAM AUTOMATICS?

It looks fantastic, very neat job there. It's a shame you didn't finish it.

I came across this post as I've just bought a Treasure Island and was hunting for circuit diagrams for it as it's been butchered for arcade use and been dramatically rewired so it only pays out about once every hundred goes!

Re: CAM AUTOMATICS?

Now that gives me an idea. These Cam Girl types are nice, simple machines, and any reasonably competent handyman could build a replica, Hi Opp Bell :D , I am ahead on you with this one ;-) , I started to make my own version called Wild West a few weeks ago, I did my own graphics with the aid of you...
