Re: Jennings Witch and Black Cat

It's back in auction! :HaHa: Yes indeed, well I thought it had sold as I listened to the original auction live, which had active bids between at least two parties and reserve must have been met as they got to the starting estimate of £2500, as I believe they are not allowed to set reserves above es...

Re: Unusual UK conversion on a Jennings

The Jennings or should I say repro Jennings with Jubilee mech finished today at the Adams Partridge sale and made an incredible £1240  I am sure when sold by the company who made them, they sold them for less than that.... Re: The Wonders List

I couldn’t find a picture on the Wonders list of the Royal Flush, so added this one in the later cabinet. Interesting as I could see no payout slide or method for payout and maybe was just coin return. Not the most exciting of Wonders machines, but I guess not common. Sold the other day for £200....

Re: Saleroom roundups

Thanks PM, definitely quiet out there. For your reference the Witches Cat did sell for £2500, I do not believe the Saleroom updated correctly, but I watched online and Beestons site confirms this...

Re: Oliver Whales locks

You won’t see any on eBay. If you do, I will be buying them, like everyone else. These are hen's teeth, if the original small brass long nose nozzle locks. If you have original, easy enough to take out and get a key cut.

Yes Kraft were main distributors for Jamieson’s machines and you will find lots of catalogues in the Resources section from different years.

Re: Roma Flotilla

I have been very tempted having a go with 3D printing a colleague of mine has been making weird and pointless items as a bit of fun, but you can’t beat original parts. How many times I have seen people on here or at collectors auctions criticise things that don’t look right, fit or are non original....

Re: A German bastard from the 1950s

There are one or two collectors that have nice sites on their hobby and this being one of them. Funny when I used google translate it tried to translate from German to Italian and not Danish. I thought he may know the maker of these and suspect the Rheinland badge had been added. I do like the Jübu ...

Re: Unusual UK conversion on a Jennings

Now that would be a cool feature, turning a repro Jennings (or other spare cabinet) machine into a toilet cistern '!' ....by the way I am being serious, next project on its way.
