Re: OLD AND THE NEW

Unfortunately I am a bit long in the tooth for a proper sports bike and have to make do with a Triumph St1100... Roll on sunny days and clear roads.... might have to wait a long time.

Re: OLD AND THE NEW

My New Year's resolution for 2020 will be to visit as many vintage arcades as possible as only been to Jerry’s so far......

So need to make a road trip, maybe by motorbike on an arcade tour... Might even do a detailed travelogue of the experience..... Roll On 2020. !!THUMBSX2!!

Re: Oliver Whales floor-standing & counter-top 3D stereoviewers

Interesting at the beginning of this thread I noticed Coin-op mention not seen another floor standing version of the Olly Whales viewer, but I think the below version is the one and same type. Been on eBay for a while at £499, came from Bridlington apparently with load of other Allwins etc most sold...

Re: Spenser Bolland Road Safety identified

Not sure it is worth £1250 or anywhere near. Many seem to have sold on eBay and at the Elephant over the years for between £400 and £600.....and most collectors would prefer the non electric version I suspect. I was almost tempted by the Steer a Coin by Inness on eBay the other day a bargain by comp...

Re: Any tips on stripping and repainting a Mills bandit

Hi there, I saw that machine at the Elephant. One of the challenges removing old paint from these machines, apart from the layers and toxic lead based content, is that the older base paints are incredibly hard to shift with stripper and it often takes a number of goes to get off. I have done it, but...

Re: Oliver Whales 9 Results allwin identified

I was going to comment earlier in the thread as I too noticed the hole for the pay cup was once square cut probably for a gift or sweetie payout, probably a long time ago in its history. You can see from front and back the marks....unless me eyes really have finally gone. EBFE8892-0D81-45CA-B47D-A40...

Re: Countertop viewer

Looks like an Olly Whales viewer. Oddly I was going to post about the below one that sold last week for £1400 or £1750 including commission. I was trying to work out if it had some super rare pictures in or something......crazy Anyway may help with artwork. I am sure this will get linked to ...
