Re: Help with Bradley Challenger

Carefully paint over the lettering with Vaseline using a very fine paintbrush and then over-spray the plates with whatever colour you want for the background. Leave for a day to dry thoroughly then carefully rub the paint from the letters using a toothpick or similar. I will definitely have a go at...

Re: How many cherries?

As stated above it would be great to find info on how and what gaming relating to our hobby took place before 1960. Re: Mills Romanhead started to not pay out

Just another tangent, I have rarely had spring issues as little pressure should be needed to move the finger and horizontal finger across unless the spring is really knackered or something is not allowing the fingers to move, most common issue from my experience is a timing issue where the slide rel...

Re: Victorian wall hanging circus astrology game machine

Ha ha ha, well what goes around, comes around. Looks like a dealer bought it and now on eBay for a cool £3000..... One of the things I know puts off a collector or buyer is items that shift too quickly after sale and appear again and again. Problem with the antiques world, most of the dealers are bu...

Ok found one of the resources I had come across before and this one is in Denmark. Very interesting site with their interest in a variety of machines and restorations.....about £16 for reel strips.....
