Re: Chuddy machine
So once we got over the excitement of Xmas without visitors, I turned my attention back to the above machine. I was finding it hard to live with the reality that it looked deplete as it was missing its embossed manufacturer's plate on the front. As I suspected Sainsbury's were useless and because th...

Re: Sega Mad Money actuator jumps out of location, ideas?
Every horizontal finger has a corresponding slide. I come back to the fact that the errant lever is the only thing that resets all of the slides at the same time. How that happens basically is the bottom slide has an upright plate attached at the back. It's the same height as the whole stack. When t...

You can see where the edge of the bar is grinding out the edge of the top slide. It shouldn't even be able to tou...

If possible get the tin with the liquid version and not the aerosol. The one I have in my shed is an aerosol which is a much better idea than dribbling it in. You're confusing me... :-? I exchanged my shares from the liquid to the aerosol product. Dribbling no longer pays the premium. BP :didact:

Re: Sega Monaco restoration
Spent many a week in the summer hols at Paignton BP back in the 1950s/60s, I was probably the snotty nosed lad in short trousers banging the machine whilst you were desperately trying to fix them in the back room. :HaHa: ... I used to wonder what the hell I was going to find, and regularly spent th...
