Re: Running Hare

You have started off your collection with two absolute crackers! They are two really iconic machines. Well done.
You do realise that this hobby is addictive, and you won't stop at two!

Re: The Late Maurice Felce

So sorry to hear such sad news, thank you for letting us know. My wife and I have known Maurice and Pat since the early days of Huntington race course Auctions. My thoughts are with the family.

Here it is.
Thanks for that BP, I couldn't find it myself. Is it definitely 1.5mm thick ? it looks a bit thicker than that in the photos, mind you I do have 1.5mm thick brass sheet in stock !
I think you are getting your BP's and PM's muddled.

Re: Saleroom roundups

I think this emphasises the reality of our collecting hobby, and collecting in general. These Items have no real quantifiable "value", they are worth what someone will pay. It's supply and demand. https://www.sothebys.com/en/press/slam-dunk-sothebys-sets-new-world-auction-record-for-any-pair-of-sne...

Bryans Fan, don’t agree on the current market trends, in fact I have been surprised at how how machines are selling eBay, most way above normal auction prices at elephant and Coventry.
Could be the "lock down effect" people have nothing better to do than surf the net? :!?!:

Re: Saleroom roundups

I noticed that there were a lot of N/S and below estimate sales in the previous post re the Auction Team Breker (Cologne) sale and was going to comment, but you beat me to it with the second post re The Donley Auction Services sale in America, where again prices were low. Was this a misprint ? If no...
