Re: 1D Pinball

I'm presuming this is the maker's name? Looks like a proper commercial use machine going by the coin mech and keys etc.

Advance Pin Table identified

Another project that I simply won't finish! May ebay it. Will it be OK listed on there as it's not strictly a gambling device?

Sega Clover Bell

Topic moved & merged - Site Admin.

Hi,
Sega Clover Bell on Ebay.
Anyone have a video or know if they pay out coins etc ? Also is the gumball mech a one coin in one gumball out affair like the Spark's type Trade Stims?
TIA.

Re: Mills Hi Top Projects

Hi,
just renovated 2 Mill's Hi Tops during lockdown and like you I wanted to keep the crackle finish. I found thinned down Hammerite dabbed on with a short bristled brush gave a great finish. Trick is do it quick and don't brush the paint on. Two coats worked best I found.
Pics attached.

Re: 12 Win Clock

Thanks for the link - interesting and seems it was a makeover by Glenvil then. Is there any way of dating Bryan's machines by their serial numbers?

Re: 12 Win Clock

Hi,
Sorry to jump in on this post but wondered if anyone can date my Bryan's Clocks?
I have three in total, a streamline and 2 normal height, one of which has an unusual "fruit" face by Glenvil. Can't find anything about it on the net.

Pics attached and serial numbers.
Many thanks.

Re: Fill Em Up questions

On my machine it would need 44 balls to fill all columns and plus one more to trigger a win. I also wondered why there were only 40 balls. Maybe they are stuck in there somewhere, or just were removed at some point, or just never there to start with. Like you say, would be quite unusual to have all ...

Re: Fill Em Up questions

Ah sorry, didn't realize you were so far away! Yes the backflash is good on mine but then I paid good money for it (680 GBP). Can you not get a repro backflash done maybe?

Re: Fill Em Up questions

Hi, Not sure if it helps but I have just restored my "Fill Em Up" and there were 40 balls in there. Also had the same problem with payouts, but just needed cleaning and adjustment. Great machines and engaging to play! Liking the little base ball in your picture by the way. Would you sell/s...

Re: Mills Hi Top - Ebay

He's now saying its not that rare after all! The token part has been removed; yes - no coin box, and didn't comment on the wrong handle, or so-called rare UK coinage. Asked him to test lining all the 7's up manually and see if it throws the jackpot.

Re: Mills Hi Top - Ebay

Thanks for the info. Seller thinks it's rare as it's got the 777 100 coin payout, UK coinage (which the majority seem to have anyway). Said he could put on a pallet for delivery too!! SHREEK. Have asked how the 100 coins payout works and if he has tested it; let you know.

Yes, my offer would be around that mark. Could I ask for more info on token vendor and discs?

Re: Gumball and collector's card vendor 1D

Thanks PM, Yes that machine is identical, unlike the Premiere one. I have just started stripping it and on the back of the display cards there is also that maker's name "Amcomatic" (dated 1958) but also "Universal Automatics Ltd" but I guess that could have just been who supplied...

Re: Gumball and collector's card vendor 1D

Thanks, yes I saw those types for sale but think they are USA ones. Mine seems like it might be British-made maybe. The 1D coin mech looks original and the display cards both have UK writing on the backs.

Gumball and collector's card vendor 1D

Topic moved & merged - Site Admin. Hi, Just picked up this from my local Antiques and Collector's Market. Can anyone shed any light on it? It has no maker's name and runs on old penny 1D. Thinking 1950s maybe? Has a clever mech that vends a gumball and a card that alternates from left to right ...
