Re: Mills wing nut gone missing

Now if you had a rare earth magnet (every workshop should have one, will cost you about £10 for a good one or salvage one from an old micro wave) fixed to a handle and moved around like a metal detector over the whole area it will find every pin, screw, nut, bolt bolt and metal filing you ever lost ...

Re: What screw size was used for the Mills Escalator

I wasn't recommending it, Paul. Merely confirming that these things are out there and offering it as an example of one such product. At the other end of the scale, there is also a product costing less than £8. It is highly rated in the reviews, but looks a bit flimsy....

Re: What screw size was used for the Mills Escalator

I would love to get hold of a template for testing screw sizes and types, the amount of times I have bought expensive bags of the damn things only to find the wrong size They are out there Treefrog. For example: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bolt-Thread-Fastener-Gauge-Line/dp/B01NCANLCK/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_3...

Yeah! I think you should all boycott EH. Then I can sneak in and.....

Not really, but you know people will go where the machines take them. Particularly if they scent a bargain!

Re: Win an Aero

I agree with Widget, I'd have bid more if I had his sandblaster. I'm trying to set up a baking soda blaster but I don't have anywhere that can handle the mess. :#: Good call, Paul. The one and only time I used my soda blaster was when sprucing up my Novomat (I started on this with a view to learnin...

Re: not sure this machine would be allowed today

They are (I am told) very common today. Like ...

Re: Arcade Photographs

......Yet again no mention in the report of the impact of the change in the law in 2007 allowing the bookmakers a spectacular advantage over amusement arcades..... Was a fiscal link between the betting industry and the Labour Party ever established? Hard to believe anyone could consider such a one-...

Re: Isle of Wight Shanklin sale

I live within sight of the IoW and even have my own boat to get there. Forgot completely about this auction! Having read some of the feedback, though, I am quite pleased I did as the two machines I would have been interested in sound like they were duds.

Re: VINTAGE slot machine website changes hands

Hi, BP and PC. Congrats on taking over Stuart's wonderful slottie site. Few minor queries, if I may? 1. Did Stuart's site not have a list of useful links? 2. How do I know when my registration as a member is complete? Or is this a work-in-progress? 3. Why am I asking these questions from PennyMachin...
