Re: Smithy & Crackerjack - new additions

I have now looked at this several times and tried placing the lever into the cog but to no avail. Part of the problem is I have no idea what I am looking for :!?!: :HaHa: It would appear that either the cog is the wrong way 'round or the lever upside down, as when in place it locks up when paying ou...

Re: Smithy & Crackerjack - new additions

Thanks for info so far. Although I said initially they worked fine, there does now seem to be some payout issues with Crackerjack. There are some numbers missing from the barrel but I have sort of deduced where the four and six are, even so, when it pays on these you only ever receive two pennies. T...

Re: Smithy & Crackerjack - new additions

Thanks for info. Never gave it a thought when I bought them that Smithy might be a copy. Quite happy with purchase nonetheless, as it is still pleasing to the eye and, although on closer inspection there are a few tell tale signs, it still has an aged look and feel about it. When would you suggest t...

Smithy & Crackerjack - new additions

Topic merged - Site Admin. Hi, Help once again much appreciated. Never had an interest before in wall machines, always been more bandits, but decided to dip my toes in this collectable minefield. Anyway, after a 500 mile round trip I arrived home with these two pieces which I am delighted with. Bot...

Re: Jubilee Riviera - moving back to 5p / Shilling?

my understanding of this is if it was originally shilling slight adjustment of coin entry would put it back nothing else has probably been changed as a 20p is similar in thickness and as such lends itself to conversion from shilling I,e pile of 10 old 5p same as pile 10 0f new 20p

Re: Newbie question about Sega

Finally got around to cleaning the escalator. I was worried initially about dismantling it but it turned out to be relatively easy, albeit it took me around four hours. Not the quickest, but you were right coppinpr - huge difference !THUMBS! . The next part, the mech, I'm not looking forward to. As ...

Re: Jennings prices

Hi raj,
You seem to be very knowledgeable about Jennings - what advice can you give to a novice like me when purchasing one of these machines? What do you mean by straw board? Why do I see some solid wood sides with numbers etched on side?

Re: Jennings prices

Thanks for info and putting my mind at ease. Sold both for £1100, so was quite happy. Think just the realisation that they are gone left me in mourning and now need to replace them.
