Re: Nestle Win a Choc

Decided to get my finger out my @@@@ and crack on with resto. I'm ashamed to say it's been almost a year since I started. :woops: I have to say many thanks to clown catcher for the artwork in Resources. I got it printed and laminated and it turned out great. There's not an awful lot left to do so ho...

Re: Parkers allwins

Asking on this thread as there is already an image here but can't make out the payouts. I know it would be fairly easy to figure out but there is also a gate (arrowed) which I imagine would remove the top payout from the equation, or even top and middle, so operator changeable? Does anyone own one w...

Re: bryans retreeva help

Thanks for the info. I just bought a load of woodworm killer. Thankfully there appears to be no evidence of any on the door or playfield. I have another OW machine with signs also. I thought I might give it a couple of coats then wrap it in cling film (I'm not even sure if it would make a difference...

Bryans Retreeva help

Picked up a Retreeva in need of some surgery. I think personally I may consider making a new case. I would love to hear anyone's thought on keeping the case and refurbishing and any ideas as to how to go about it. There is some worm which always worries me mainly because I know little about it or ho...

Re: New allwin projects

Hi gameswat, Comparing photos in the link you posted there does appear to be parts missing. I don't think I possess the skills necessary to completely restore this back to original. I'm still trying to get my head around the reserve ball part thought all I had to do was give it a clean, sand and var...

Re: new projects

lol Not much goes past you TF - this was indeed on ebog, local to me though so I contacted the chap. Not much for sale up here. I think it's the shortest distance I ever travelled. I saw the one in the Elephant House Auction Bob - Golden Twelve. The cabinet was not the best. I think done £780 plus c...

Re: new projects

lol No, I could have saved myself a long journey. I bought these on my doorstep. Always the same - wait ages to buy something then, like buses, all come at the same time. I like All Winners too. The Deluxe seems a solid built machine.

New allwin projects

Can anyone shed any light on the age of this Allwin Deluxe. There is also a Wurlitzer stamp on the backboard? A solid enough little machine. I think all they need is lots of TLC. I also bought at same time a Parkers Eleven Wins. It seems OK. Some veneer is missing. Is there any value to this machine...

I'm sure there are places where you can take one of the parts with you and they will match spray to suit.

Re: New way of getting past Ebay rules

Sellers of vintage slots and allwins appear to be using ebay purely as an advertising medium and have no intention of keeping them on them til the end. We see a lot more of these sellers adding their phone numbers on the pretence of asking questions, but usually so they can do a deal! Early years of...
