Cor, thanks Mr PM , thanks for the game play and the mech with pointy things. It's almost as if you have one but not played it often. Fantastic item.

Re: W.H Ell & Co. The Territorial Shooting Range

As the balls that land behind the bottles are returned to use again I presume there is a drain somewhere in front of the bottles to return those balls to the start position?

Re: Oliver & the Beak

Super sleuthing again Stuart, I don't know how you manage it. I see the basis of the fine was the use of the Corn Exchange. I would have thought Oliver would argue that (as opposed to saying that 'I didn't know it was there) it is a future pay machine, it is not a gambling machine. Not a great ruse ...

Re: Oliver & the Beak

The same photo in the Arena says the Plaza was in Bridlington as opposed to Chatham. !PUZZLED! The press cutting is misspelt Plasa so if the court paperwork was presented as such then the case should have been thrown out. I hope Oliver won the appeal......somehow I doubt it. Just sticking up for Oli...

Re: BMCo. UK to US and back again!!!

I have waded through the Hansard reference to the Gaming Bill a number of times before but it is a debate rather than the bill itself which can be seen at 'Gaming act 1968 Legislation.gov.uk chapter 65 part 3 section 26 with relevance to slot machines. Some time ago I gave up looking for the 1960 ac...

Re: BMCo. UK to US and back again!!!

Thank you for the reply Mr PM. As BMCo didn't survive www2 and their allwins were made mostly in the 1930s perhaps the facility for a free ball after a win was there in anticipation of a relaxing of the law. Or as you suggest, a 'suck and see' attitude of the operator and gauge which way gives us th...

Re: BMCo. UK to US and back again!!!

Regarding the internal photo of the above BMCo allwin machine, there is a silver coloured slidey gizmo under the ball win lever. This can be pushed in one position to allow a free ball after a win and another position to divert the ball back to the start position so as to make it penny return only. ...

Re: Pot Luck Allwin problem

A couple of observations in addition to TFs most likely cause. Where your arrow number 2 is pointing, beneath and attached to the slotted screw there should be a piece much like the upper part which has a spring attached. It is all one piece, but your lower part looks broken. Not likely to fix your ...

Re: R&W What's my line

Hi Luc and welcome to the site. There is also a good video on Youtube posted by 'slot machines' called 'Ruffler and Walker allwin Fill Em Up slot machine'. This is the same as your machine except the artwork. It gives a detailed description of the workings.
