Re: Günther Wulff Prazisa running again.
my first german was from Harold English, (not a bad place to start was it?) I had seen something on ebay about a year before I think by Slotalot who referred to it being refurbed by "The Legendary Harold English" and it stuck with me. Saw this cheap buy it now fixer up about half five one ...

Hooray for the locked thread
I am a relative newcomer to the hobby and the forum. I have met a few nice people and no rum buggers. I have got some bargains, I have made some mistakes, and mostly have probably paid the right price. I went to the Elephant House once and was disappointed, I didn't get to Coventry last month as I a...

Re: Günther Wulff Prazisa running again.
nice video, thanks for that. No doubt useful transferable information for other Gunter Wulffs I was watching it on ebay with a view to adding it to my Duomat, but I think (I know!) that if I'd got it then it would never had been as good as it now. One of the advantages of living in Blackpool is ever...

Obviously glass and stop buttons missing. What's wrong with it in play? Can you post pics of the mechanism?

Re: Electric, allwin-type German machine on ebay
Two of the earlier versions from Germany, the second in a sorry old state but the first fully working although the balls being replaced by marbles which is currently rather noisy. For the etymologists among you marbles were referred to as "glass alleys" when I was a lad, not an expression ...

Re: Coventry Auction - Sun 23rd June, 2013
Cross referring forum topic about the trip to Blackpool and its astounding value. This afternoon I was in Preston and a local cafe was offering "Large Cappuccino only £1 - buy one get one free" - you won't find that darn sarf. Maybe next year's summer auction should be up t'North.

Re: WD 40, other uses
I have grave reservations about whether this will be of use to anyone on this forum but I have a teenager who uses it to fit the grips on his bmx handlebars. Now don't all head down the skate park at once. Great news about the slug use though, I shall apply some if it ever stops raining.

Someone will give you a far more instructive response but doesn't it all make you hark for the days when if something went tits up you just went back to the start and threw a double six?

My Mini Maxi on old 5p together with what I think of as its sister machine (they have used the same pictures of one of the girls but resized them), called Lucky Ladies.

If you access the automatix site through Google Chrome it will offer to translate it for you. The translation can sometimes be rough and ready but it may help. I don't have schematic but I'll photograph the inside of my Luxus for you as best I can and post it later. It's set for 6d.

can't quite make out from the picture but 50 cents more likely to be on 50c Australian as I think that's where these machines hail from originally. Aristo experts will no doubt respond with full info.

Fake Uncle Sam?
I see from Elephant House that they have an "Uncle Sam Machine Casting". There was one of these, again, just the top, not the machine itself, on ebay a week or two ago. The ebay listing had the hole filled with a clock marked "pool hall" or "pool room" and purported to ...

Re: Scottish Electro Mechanicals on ebay
two of the Skegness lots survived the Ebay cull, the guy seems open to discussions as I sent him a message to say I was interested in one of those that disappeared and he came back inviting offers. these are the two he still has listed http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330931791568?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&...

Re: A strange thing happened today
I've used couriers for both buying and selling and have only had one bad experience which is far outweighed by the many bargains I've secured by ignoring the "collection only" tag. Mind you my best and cheapest courier is my baby sister who lives in Southampton, has a job that involves tra...

Not another contender for the ugliest Beromat derivative - this isn't a contender, it's the undisputed champ! Close to some of our members though so sure will find a home.

Re: "King" Machine
I had a yellow one and yes, the case had suffered some damage, just like the one currently on ebay. Robust in every mechanical sense as you expect from beromat derivative but the cases are very brittle.
