Without trying to be righteous, I subscribe to the Arena and to Jerry's mag but reckon the site has got to be worth a couple of quid a year to anybody interested in slots.

I would be happy to subscribe to help towards running costs, perhaps there could be a ceiling on the price of the items wanted and for sale (say, £10 or £20) so as not to turn it into anything too serious - rather more a place to help fellow collectors with odd bits and bobs.

I too have the mystery piece as per busslot. On Melvyn Wright's site it shows a Twelvewin Clock with jackpot function face with 12/24 at the 12 o'clock position and says you get the 24d if both hands are on the 12. This 24d payout, I assume, is the jackpot. The photos don't show any jackpot mech beh...

As an afterthought, what is the payout knob stopper designed to do? Other manufacturers e.g. Wonders, Whales etc. have no such item. Seems to me it just gets in the way of getting a good grip of the payout knob - an example of Bryans over engineering?

There was a Bryans elevenses featured on cash in the attic on BBC1 this morning at 11.30 - the clip is about 31 minutes into the programme. The auction was held in Seaton,Devon. According to the 'expert' it's a catching type of game and the pins above the gallery rotate so as to throw the ball off. ...
