Re: 1930s bandits being smashed

Whatever was up with these people? Why dump them over the side rather than recycle the metal?

Making a statement, I suppose. The one that comes to my mind is "what a bunch of knobs"!

Re: Wilhelm Fürst coin flicker

Hi, Christophe. Please don't go to any trouble. I really like these coin flicker games and just wanted to see what the completed machine looked like. But I see Mr PM has included one such photo on the first page of this thread. That will teach me to ignore the advice of my tutors of 44 years ago: &q...

I do like that 'Rouletta', Paul. That mirrored glass finish looks to be in remarkably good condition. Not so keen on any of the others.

That is fantastic, Scottie. Are the dimensions of that part true? It certainly proves that 3D printing could be a solution for replacement of low-load components.

Was it Leonardo DaVinci that wrote in mirror script? *
*It was. Images now flipped in Photoshop - Site Admin.

A very nice arcade, Mr Merrivale. Some lovely machines. I look forward to having a play when I next pass through Great Yarmouth.

Re: Slot machines in your bedroom?

Just mentioned to the wife that hotels in the States were putting bandits in bedrooms and and asked her to give me a hand with getting the Sega Continental upstairs to our room. "You can f*** right off with that idea!" was her instant response. Women! No sense of humour. !SOFA!

Re: Pace comet on ebay

Is it possible the vendor components were removed by an operator? Presumably, the vendor ruse was not needed to circumvent gambling law in the UK? I suggest this because I have a Watling that was the subject of a Samson conversion and that has a dowel used to fill the hole left when the vendor handl...
