They have been serviced and the cabinets waxed and are due to be placed side by side in my Penny Arcade trailer for people to enjoy, just as Bryans intended. 😀 Both machines are believed ...

Boland Black Beauty
Finally got round to a sympathetic restoration of the Boland black beauty that I acquired as part of a job lot of broken machines last year.

Cam Davy Jones Locker Penny Pusher discovery!
Having recently purchased a Davy Jones locker penny pusher I have started to strip down and clean the machine. On removing the back flash, a piece of corrugated card basically with a rather nice period cartoon backing stuck to it, I discovered the name of the customer it was made for written on the ...

Don’t know if this eBay listing is any good. Nothing to do with me, just happened upon it this evening.

Re: Temple’s Penny Arcade Trailer Project
This is the early version, first flick releases ball and sets arrow odds, second flick plays ball. The payout cup has been altered at some time. It’s a great machine to play but not from a commercial perspective, I spent all day explaining how it works! Think I will move it on for something easier t...

Re: Temple’s Penny Arcade Trailer Project
Thanks 😀 The Octopus took the most coins, followed by the Mills bandits. The Pilwin was more popular than the Elevenses. It’s all very interesting really. It depends on the position of the machines. Also had multiple jams throughout the weekend caused by people putting new pennies in the slots or mo...

Re: Temple’s Penny Arcade Trailer Project
It looks great Paul, but you only have 8 machines, you need more. If you had some ( suitably painted up) attachable shelves, that brought the platform the machines stand on outside of the pillars all the way around the trailer, then you then could fit 6 machines along both sides and 3 machines acro...

Re: Temple’s Penny Arcade Trailer Project
So first day done! Learned a great deal today. Machines were popular on a grim, windy day. Back tomorrow for another crack at it.
