Re: 1960s rarities

Re: Electro-mechanical Wall Machines

Thank you Moonriver for your comment. Comments (good or bad) are a bit of a rarity on my slot machine video films of which I have a few on here. It's nice to know some people enjoy them. At times I wonder if I should have bothered as most times there is no feedback. Luckily I do enjoy doing them!

Re: Info wanted to improve an Autofruit emulation

The length of time the rotor moves is different each game thanks to an interrupter stop/start unit. Every time the contact drops in to a notch it stops the main cam unit for a few seconds. This prevents any recurring sequence.

Re: Prospector

I enclose an original letter and B/W Picture from January 3rd 1964. This will hopefully answer the question of who made Prospector.

Re: Goldings Orbito

This is different to the Jugola etc. as it does have columns that do hold 3d bits. When the column is full its contents are released to the player,

Re: Electrodart On E Bay

On closer inspection it's probably the brightness from the extra bulb added in the top Electrodart sign, but clearly wires are missing, as the two payout thermal blocks are missing from below the six relays. Possibly the seller would not know this though, and I always seem to remember square payout ...

Electrodart on eBay

Regarding the Electrodart for sale on eBay, Item Number 273157765732, if you look at picture 3 you can see the dart image lit just above the SCORE EITHER, yet on picture 2 (inside) there are NO wires and no bulb or bulb holder in sight. The seller messaged me stating clearly that 'no wires were miss...

I saw it in January, It is the same one because the 2 x red 2p signs on the front and also I saw it for myself and will never forget those coloured wires all over the place, looks like the apprentice electrician had been to work on it.

Re: Jockey Club

This Jockey Club has to be made by Jamieson's. Despite what the seller says, this machine would have worked on old penny coins. None of these type were on half pennies.
