Re: Aristocrat Nevada mech id?

As it has overlays already, it's maybe likely that it started life as "X" reel bundle from the factory and has been revised once or more times to match any number of different award cards through its life. I was giving the wild aces as an option as a possible lower award card to marry up t...

Re: mech id?

Here's a couple of pictures of the award card in a new cabinet now. The reel bundle on this is a converted Tic Tac Toe reel bundle with the aces placed over the Tic and Tac Toe symbols on each reel. The black strip has been converted too by scratching out the original Tic Tac Toe and substituting wi...

Re: mech id?

Hello, The aces seem to be overlays so could be covering another winning symbol or lemons. Intriguing that the bar symbols don't look to be overlays, however the type font for the bar is unusual for an Aristocrat. There are a number of wild aces Aristocrat award card options, so maybe one of them or...

Re: RARE ACE HITOP

Malcymal, yes - a company called Ace manufactured those classic e/m games like King of Clubs down in South Wales but Treefrog is correct that this Ace company was a US company formed after Pace finished circa 1950/1951. As usual ,slot history is full of somewhat conflicting information, however from...

Re: Jubilee Riviera Golden Nugget

Well had an email from Alex and it looks unlikely that he can get to me and just as unlikely that I will be near to him in near future so looks like this thread may run and run......

I will leave Alex to run through suggestions offered previously.

Re: RARE ACE HITOP

Yes, Pace went onto Ace and then into... Space. The mechanism is Pace and yes, it's a Pace handle, star boss, and yes, it's for sale for just a penny plus a nice Win a Race Bonus Extra please.

Re: Jubilee Riviera Golden Nugget

I sent Alex a pm saying if he could get it to my house I would take a look, show him the dangerous bits etc. but no response as of yet, and have just realised that I passed nearby today on my way up to Carlisle services collecting some other machines. Anyway, offer still stands but you may have conq...

Rare Ace HiTop

I have listed this slot in the Market tonight. Interesting machine - not your usual Hi-Top.

I have shown pictures of the cabinet but it has a mechanism/escalator/jackpot etc.

I'd be interested if anyone else has one in their collection.

Re: New additions to my collection

Really great machines those original mannequin bowlers, both the Williams and Evans versions. Benchmark games did a modern version with LED scoring rather than old pinball type score reels but I believe they were appalling in terms of faults in normal usage so were quickly discontinued.

Re: Aristocrat arcadian

25 kilo? Are you thinking of Sheerline style cabinet badged as Arcadian? I know there are a number of different variants of Arcadian badged machines from Aristocrat, e.g. Sheerline style with an Arcadian badge to the Bonus Aristocrat in an Arcadian cabinet with bigger top-box to incorporate all the ...

Well that's the plastic marquee sorted. Now I just hope that if you are not meeting up that they get to their new addresses in one piece.

Re: Aristocrat Kingsway – Gold Star repair

I typed a lengthy reply which has mysteriously disappeared...? At least the image of the Goldstar in Kingsway format is there! I agree with TF - don't be too concerned about the different marquee badge - you can change it at a later date if you wish. Importantly, it looks in very good condition, whi...

Re: Jubilee Riviera Golden Nugget

Thanks for confirming the purchase as direct. I would phone Henry - his number is online. I usually find him best early in the mornings, however he may be away and/or offline too. TF is correct. With the cycle the mech is in currently, inexperience can lead to very nasty finger injuries, although by...

Re: Jubilee Riviera Golden Nugget

Hello, and welcome as they say. Firstly, can you confirm that you actually purchased the machine from Henry directly? Posts suggest so, but don't actually confirm. If you did, and you have contacted him by email and not had a reply yet, I would give him a call to discuss your machine and where you g...
