Bryans Bullion

I toyed with the idea of getting one of these for some time and always ended up buying something else. Anyway, finally got one in excellent condition (same owner last 30 years) and what a fantastic piece of engineering. Not the best looking machine though... Were these made in vast numbers? Mine is ...

Re: Achieving crackle paint effect à la Bryans

Excellent video John - helps immensely. I will do bit of experimenting. I definitely think I will invest in a spray-gun. Also I'm wondering if glue was maybe applied with a small roller?

Achieving crackle paint effect à la Bryans

Topic moved and merged - Site Admin.

I've been trying unsuccessfully to replicate crackle paint on Bryans cabinet. Can anyone offer any tips or advice? Would be much appreciated.

Re: Auction fees

I think this has possibly been discussed numerous times. I would think if the seller is lumbered with all the costs fewer machines would be made available. Personally, I think 6% or 10% with no VAT is not even worth complaining about. Just factor it into the cost of purchase. If you do ever GP, mayb...

Hi raj - that I think could well be the answer (I would never have thought of it). Drop the backboard by 5mm should do the trick. !!THUMBSX2!!

Does size really matter? (allwin hammer)

Asked my wife but she knows nothing about coin ops. I was almost at the end of putting together a machine which had been lying around for some time and encountered a problem with the hammer. It appears that the replacement I have bought is slightly smaller (albeit millimetres), but it does mak...

Re: OW question

Here's other side and a few more pics. I'm hoping that when I get it completely assembled it will work a lot better but just now the metal band seems to stick in the high position and won't let the trigger back freely.

Re: OW question

Thanks for that. I was looking at the Bryans site - I think you're on the right track with the variable pressure idea. Now it's all stripped and cleaned and I'm putting it back together. It appears there must be a certain way to set it. !PUZZLED!
