Catching the coins being chucked down the glass was a big part of the fun in playing the large version.

Watching people scrabbling to catch the coins always reminded me of seagulls squabbling over a spilled bag of chips; an undignified display of greed.
I never imagined a single-player Wheel-'em-In ever existed. Another one to look out for.

According to the Bank of England inflation calculator, £230 in 1965 is around £4400 in today's money. Not cheap - that's 55,200 old pennies just to break even on the £230 investment.

Still a three bay one of these operating in HUMBER PASTIMES in Cleethorpes on 2p's. Played last Saturday. Fantastic.

The later, post-decimal ones still appear occasionally. I would be looking for an original 1960s example.
Same goes for Tooty Fruity. A pre-decimal one would have spent the past 47 years out-of-service!
