Repair- prize knob/mech on 'Win A Spangles' Whales Redcar machine

Post by pinball »

Hi guys,

I'd be really grateful for your help about a 'Win A Spangles' machine I bought at auction recently. The prize knob won't turn fully on winning, and the plate where the Spangles would fall won't fully move (its rest position is too far to the right). Does anything look odd on the mechs in the photo? Buggered if I can fix it.

A secondary question is: what does the dial in the middle of the rear photo do? Seems to move a thingy to vertical or up position.

Does anyone near Basingstoke repair these? I'll pay.

Thanks.

The payout knob does not fully rotate on a win, it turns about a quarter turn anticlockwise and back again.
the dial that turns the "thingy" will set the machine to pay a packet of polos and return the ball for a free play.

hope this helps :!?!:

It looks like you have had a win and turned or forced the handle too far instead of letting it go back after about half a turn?
Remove the screw that is attaching the handle mechanism to the payout slide and it should easily go back to the correct position,
If not post back here and we will have another look :)
