These are new old stock Samson real metal strips, not paper...

I know a man that has loads of them of course I have a set... these are gold award one's Samson also did plane one's as well....

Just got back to the UK so don't fancy a long drive oop north. I would have gone there's some tasty unrestored stuff in.but I shall be there in spirit so hopefully will have a delivery soon. So could give to Steve if you're in no hurry of course

I have brought my set with me wrapped in the original Dave special newspaper from Southend 1987. As long as he remembers to bring a set for the same price for me to replace

Did they make different reel strips for reel 3? Reels one and two are spot on but 3 is miles out I think, either there was a different reel strip with just one 9 on or my reel 3 has been replaced with a wrong one, but they have stamped on 1gm,2gm,3gm only one that lines up on reel 3 is the gold award Haha

The ones Mr slots sell are the ones I need. Reels one and two the same, reel 3 different. grrrrr

What do you mean by different, as he doesn't sell numbered strips?

Just compared the numbers with fruit tom, cherries, 1 orange, 3,plums,5, bells, 7 and bars 9.
His are in the right order to match my payout disc on reel 3, if you notice his has the gold award in the middle of the strip where mine is at the beginning, I've managed to get it sorted by using an old strip and cut the numbers out and stuck them over the other ones, not perfect but will do the job until I find another set

Thanks Paul, that's a kind offer mate. Trouble is, mine are made of tin and I would prefer to keep them as tin, they look so much more authentic. You got to really look hard to notice reel 3 is patched up with bits from my old reel strip, so I will just leave it for now like that. If they start dropping off when playing, I will have to bite the bullet and get some new ones.
