Allwin Deluxe info please
What can the allwin boys tell me about this machine? A young boy in Alberta Canada has been given it by his Grandfather who bought it 40+ years ago in an antique shop.
Anyone know (or can confirm my guesses) who made this? (Jentzsch & Meerz?)
Is it actually an Allwin Deluxe (the centre card looks like a replacement as does the backflash)? The only machine I can find with the central payout knob is called "Monte Carlo".
What date? (Late 1920s?)
Something is missing. Is it just a connecting rod or is the slide missing as well (don't know)?
The suppliers plate is a well know company that I do know.

Re: Allwin Deluxe info please
The crank lever is disconnected from the central knob, the slide and its con rod are missing too.
Easy to manufacture.
When it comes to Allwins I can only identify Bryan's, Parkers, Oli Whales and Hawtins, hence my recent thread asking about the B.M.Co.

I believe it started life as a German token-payout reserve ball allwin of the late 1920s, similar to the example below. Distinguishing features are the central payout handle, offset payout cup and deeper than usual door frame top. I think this was a rival manufacturer to Jentzsch & Meerz.

Sorry Torsten - Message sent to you. I split your topic and moved it here because it's a different make and model of allwin.
