Wow! What's the size compared to a normal version? I like the chain (is that plastic?) and gearing setup on the wheels, no slipping belts here ! Only thing missing is machine turned burnishing on those alloy mech plates, a sure sign of quality just like BMCO usually did.
Yes the chain is plastic and 3/8 pitch. Each gear wheel is different, meaning each of the four wheels turn at different speeds. The overall speed is variable and the drive wheel from the motor has a clutch, to prevent jams. I made my own payout mech, and clutch assy, and cabinet with real veneer. The wheels are made from hard wood and I used stainless rod to make the pins. The wheel bearings I made on the lathe with steel bar. The playfield has lights embedded 'round the edge that illuminate when playing. It's a good game and nice bit of furniture. The machine is approx 1/3rd of original size.
