I don't think any of us did...

But here's my little summary of the sale from a UK perspective.

Full results from Morphy Auctions

And quick roundup of the British/European stuff in the Arena.

Thank you Mr Pennymachines for pulling together what is of interest to us in the Morphy auction in the way of British and European machines. A really outstanding job.

Remainder of post split and moved to Automatic Sports Company games Site Admin.

:o  !OMFG!
"1¢ Artillery Duel Two Player Gun Game
Extremely rare duel gun mermaid gun game. The two player game returns the coin to the first player to knock down his opponents four riflemen. Much of the finish is original with slight touch up and over painting. One of only several two player mermaids known. Includes key. In working condition. Condition (Excellent). Estimate: 150,000.00 - 250,000.00 USD

$317,200

(£219,344)
That is some serious dosh! You could buy a house for that! I recently pulled out of bidding on two machines at E H after they went to a thousand pounds! It's in another league over there.

Does anyone else think this is a shocker? Pun intended. Looks brand spanking new. Must be hard to know what to do with cast stuff when paintwork is not able to be saved.
