Several allwins on ebay

Post by coppinpr »

Topic moved - Site Admin.

A veritable plethora of allwins on Ebay just now, having spent all my life selling things for a living it never ceases to amaze me how some people have no idea about how to sell. On Ebay the photo rules of course, so why would this seller think he's doing the best to sell his machine :!?!: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rare-Allwin-F ... Sw5cNYiQZk a
Am I right in saying this has the wrong top box sign?

This machine on the other hand looks to me like a nice restore project but I know little about allwins.

There are at least two others for sale at the moment.

I have seen a few with these top signs PC so it could be original (the pic below is of a U-Select-It machine taken in 2007). I think his asking price is a little high but then this is ebay :!?!:

He says you can buy it for £850 or make an offer, then ends by saying they'd like a grand!? :!?!:

As the listing has 15 days plus left, I assume it was listed 15 days ago on a month listing format? The buyitnow price was revised a few days back, so I assume the original price was a lot higher, and that the description related to that original higher price?

The U-Select-It was £1000 buy-it-now last week, dropped to £850.

It's like Paul said in his opening post.
It's amazing how people don't know how to market something or even read what they've written before hitting the button.
When I was a publican I was delighted when my immediate competition would still be showing posters advertising their Xmas Dinners ...... in February.

Been a few nice things on eBay recently like the gapwin and trickler apparently being sold by ex-arcade owners....the bids were removed at 5grand for both !OMFG!

Also another ex-arcade family selling a Bryans hidden treasure and retreeva.....

Of course all these were probably sold through offline bids, not me I am afraid.....I am broke :!?!:

The upper of the two 5 Wins has parts missing (coin entry and ball release, for starters) and the lower one has had a new base and an ugly 1D sign stuck over the token entry slot. The owner claimed it was 'totally original' but never replied when I queried his description.

and I thought the "u-select it" photo was a bad attempt to sell, this one is on gumtree, seems the machine pays on Lemons, very rare
