Cheers.

Which is a reproduction?
The Roman Head inside the cover .... or .... The Nevada Club Jennings? :#:

As to what happened to Dieter, according to Google he is now a doctor .......
Dieter Ladwig
Category: Doctors
Berliner Str. 9a
35315 Homberg

He is however on Facebook his outline looks a bit like Tin-Tin, but he has an interesting looking friend called Christine.
Dieter Ladwig

Sadly in Canada he has died.

Ahh, that is sad..

The Roman Head is a repro for sure.
Way too shiny, no GA dispenser or mention of GA on the award card but the biggest giveaway is the big chunky 'hightop'-style arm. Mills orig Silents had the 'fish knife' arms which do not extend above the top of the case. Same for all those fake/repro War Eagles..
!SMARTY! (or not, just corrected my stelling,, errr spelling).

Am posting this for no other reason than to blatantly keep The Coronet 'in the news' and shall persist relentlessly until such time as Bedpanny's whip around reaches sufficient grands to place a big, expensive postage stamp on it and send it
on its way....and no unwanted relatives thanks,,

Tsk Tsk BP,
As previously stated, that is simply not PC in the antipodes.
'Colouredmailer' ought to suffice though...

N'er mind BP,
Let's cheer up, it could be your problem trying to off-load the Coronet.
Appears (for a TV programme about 'rare & esoteric') it is, um, well, too rare and esoteric for TV !PUZZLED!
So let's hold our breath for some pretty carnival glass, china and brass (not pewter, mind), grommets off a 19-something-or-other machine that can darn yer socks & make a cuppa at the same time (in Fmaj7)... !DOH! (No disrespect to those collectors).

(Am off to look for my Premium Bonds), have some from my Christening in 1963... (collectors take note) Do they exist these days and are they valid?

It's come to this,,,, :-( ?

That's awful news Andy, I can't believe a TV company didn't see the appeal, they must live in a very boring world. !!THUMBSX2!! @&@

Well there's no accounting for taste BP plus being a 'gambling device' they'd run in to no end of grief from the authorities in most Aussie States.

Further, seeing as the show's presenter went to jail last week on child pornography charges, I suspect they'll keep to pretty doilies and fine china........

My edit: site won't allow the word pornography so changed it to spam.

3rd edit.
Oh this is ridiculous... bit like the guy who couldn't pronounce the letter B (as in the Bat sat on the mat or the BuBumber salad) so the speech therapist suggested he replace Cs with Ks and hey presto!!

4th edit. Who edited out my 2nd edit??

Oh, 10p off the Coronet if anyone's interested....

Not guilty!
But I've turned down the Word Censor a bit so you can get your message across. I may disable it completely. It was chiefly to neuter Spam bot messages that got past all the other obstacles, but we seem to be winning the Spam war for the time being. Yippee! I can now say 'Debt Consolidation'.

When I worked for the Business Systems department of British Rail spell checkers and swear word blockers were introduced for the platform displays.
Overnight all trains to Scunthorpe disappeared. :o

Seems that following Badpenny's eventual bequeathence (where is smell-check in the tool bar please??) from yours truly, Middlehurst & Sons produced a further two models...
Not quite as pleasing on the eye as mine,,,,err, his, but a bit of history for the bandit buffs.

Here's your other Middlehurst machines ......

other coronet.bmp

definately a 50's styling..jpg

Interesting but not a patch on your thoroughbred Andy.

However, although they're basically the same machine I could certainly live with the red three reeler.

Thanks for sending them Andy.
