Misplaced queries

A few members who joined this site never found their way to the Forum and posted their queries using the Arena 'Submit an article' link, so I've moved them here. If any elicit replies, I'll split the topics accordingly. I'll also let these members know about this topic.

Re: Questions for Arthur Bolland

There's a 360 degree view of the mechanism in this Collector Connector video. The disc is shown spinning but payout is not shown working. :!?!:

Re: Micro Crystalline Wax Polish

Not seen that one before. I'm always in pursuit of the perfect silicone-free wax polish. Feedback on its metal protecting prowess is mixed... I match your "Appointment to Her Majesty" and "Formulated in the British Museum’s Research Laboratory'' with an "Appointment to Her Majest...

Re: Making cabinets

It sometimes pays to get friendly with an antique dealer or two, particularly those that do house clearances. They sometimes pick up damaged furniture beyond profitable repair/restoration which they can pass on to you for 'scrap value'. That said, of course, nice figured oak of decent length, width ...

Re: UNEDA Miniature Pin Table

Apparently the Automatic Machine Co. Ltd. made several variants of the UNEDA - see UNEDA Bagatelle Table and the Horseshoe Pintable in the Museum . Our British slot machine sale record in the Arena contains 4 UNEDAs: £100 and a no sale in 2014, £260 in 2019 and £95 in 2020, so it's averaging out aro...
