The last of the escalators

Post split, moved & merged - Site Admin. Yes, this is the one I have for sure. It's from a 1np coin SEGA BELL , so that makes complete sense now. I have removed those top washers. Not sure if these are essential, as at present the escalator jams less.( or a at a different point) Not sure why th...

Shefras Escalator problems

fullsizeoutput_ddca.jpg Hi ya people, Please see pictured my Shefras 1np escalator. This has a mind of its own with many glitchy problems... Back spring clip that lines up the coins through the escalator - after 3 - 4 coins it misses and jams up to block access for a new coin to fall in front of th...

Re: Mills reel adjustment

Thank you for your reply Mr Treefrog. Absolutely spot-on solution.
The washer on the far end works perfectly and with the slight adjustment of each individual real now stops the fingers pushing the plates and reels sideways. !!CHEERS!!

Mills reel adjustment

Hi
Mills Machine question?
When payout fingers kick in to detect payout they hit the plates and move the reels over SIDEWAYS about 2 - 3 mm.
This looks loads when in the cabinet. What can I do to make them not shift over as much? :burp: :burp:

Re: Mill Hi Top kicker damage

Okay here is my video in words …. Everything clears the reels - fingers clear the real discs - and back arm pulls away from the teeth of the discs at the last point ( pictured above) before the kicker does its job though the reels especially the third reel does tip slightly backwards before spin ( l...

Re: Mill Hi Top kicker damage

Cheers BP thank you for getting back to me, your first suggestion worn teeth on discs could be the issue as I did remove and take apart the reels, I removed patches from the disc plates where the machine had been rigged maybe my reassembling might be a tad out as I don’t remember it skipping before ...

Re: How many cherries?

Do you think this old award card would have come from the manufacturer? Or were the original ones metallic? Please see the scrubbed out cherry off the bottom line and that also hand written payout change? Thanks Paul

Re: How many cherries?

OK good info thanks. At what point do you think the CherryBell was changed to a single cherry? Would it have been when exported to the U.K., and with changed payslides / coin chutes to take 1Ds pennies (GBP) and then a funfair cherry patch up job? I found a grubby old award card underneath with one ...

Re: How many cherries?

Good day gentlemen how many cherries indeed? I’ve recently acquired Mills Cherrybell machine, Ex funfair I was told. The machine had been rigged to never pay out and its previous state disc number one has been patched up to never pay out on cherries. Reel one had multiple lemons stuck over them. Whe...
