I put screwdriver to use and took off back plate as suggested.
Two balls came out, one 1/2" diameter and one 14mm diameter.
I am assuming ball should be 1/2", and 14mm ball stuck in track.
All is well now, i hope.

I think that the AAM magazine is no longer viable. Steve appears to have other interests now, and does not appear to be as committed to the magazine as in the past.
