Re: “Princess” re-cased Beromat with broken part
This is a standard mech as seen in any wall mount German unit such as Novamat and Beromat. As with their jukeboxes and any other machine, the metal is a powder mix and it's molded under intense pressure to form a metallic structure. Most German machines were made to last 3 years as they could not re...

Re: Peter Simper hopper problem
I've had some Simper machines and they are very good, if somewhat over engineered. I agree with previous answer, it's not counting coins as they exit, so either the switch is broken or worked loose as they have adjustment for coin sizes.

Re: Ditchburn Jukeboxes
Hi all, I will be visiting the museum when open. I bought the 200 selection Panoramic a few weeks ago and been doing a bit of work, although none of my questions have been answered on the forums, I'm doing well. If anyone does know how to set the timer at the rear of the machine, the one with the nu...

Re: To repaint my Sega Bell or leave original?
Unless you are stripping mech be careful using paraffin. I have found it can sometimes react with old grease and it sets like concrete. When I did my KB Discomatics I used gunk applied with a brush, then rinse or wipe off ready for new lube. As for painting, I always do, but that's my preference. Un...

Re: Conveyor & Rollercoaster
It's quite simple. It's basically like a waterwheel - each segment holds coins, and when aligned at bottom they drop out, so I can put whatever coins I want in, and for each coin deposited it pays out whatever is in each section. Works very well too.

Re: Conveyor & Rollercoaster
I made this for my jukebox,so you get 3 selections for coins out,it cost £210 for 3 gear wheels I had made for repairing the transfere motors.I like using coins,so I put coin in,then insert the American coins in the jukebox.brill.This was mainly made from old off cuts of wood, but I did buy the motor...

Re: Conveyor & Rollercoaster
Pictures from me or the other guy? I'm thinking of making another Conveyor for myself. I've just made a change machine for my jukebox and it's got me in the mood.

Not sure if you seen it or not, I did a lot of work for Darren Hesketh too with his old penny arcade, mainly working models.

Conveyor & Rollercoaster
Hi all, not been around for a while. Yes, it was me that made the Conveyors and I made a bigger one called Elevator. I also made two small Rollercoasters and a large one in a dark wood cab called Mountain Descent. I've also made quite a few other games Inc Howzat and Jelly Fingers, which were simila...

Re: Stolen Moon Money Aristocrat machine
If you have anything of value especially a machine why would it be in a damp horrible shed. That is a sure way to knacker them up. Keep them indoors, safe, warm and where they should be.

Re: De-chrome and polish
I thought these were monkey metal so almost impossible to polish, and even if you do it will dull quick. Much nicer with a good paint job in my view.

Have you tried Eurocoin ? Yes that's who I emailed. It has a Eurocoin plate on it with s/no but still can't find anything. Just make a note of how the dip switches are currently set and then start experimenting. Doesn't take long to figure out the options. Back in the '80s and '90s I had to do the ...

Change machine
Hi everyone,
I bought this old change machine and got it working but it pays 2p coins out at the moment. I want it to work paying 10ps but at present you get 50x10p for £1. Does anyone know if it can be adjusted and what the 3 banks of switches are for on the pcb?

Re: machines for sale
That's the way threads go, someone makes a post then it goes way off topic with others blarting about other things not related. Quite common really.
