Re: Bally (Super) Gold Award - maintenance

Thanks for the suggestion (US EBay).
The part number(s) I was looking for were the Beau (or successors) part number(s). I have seen some part numbers quoted but they are really for the version without the round pin/locators.....

Regards,
Gary

Re: Bally (Super) Gold Award - Removal of Belly Glass

I have found another site that suggests that apart from the 2 screws mentioned that there are another 4 nuts at the bottom of the belly panel that need to be removed. [These may require the pay-out mechanism to be removed first!] I have attached a photo that shows Screw 1 (there is another screw on ...

Bally (Super) Gold Award - Removal of Belly Glass

Topic merged - Site Admin. Hi, It's me again.... I am really struggling to remove the belly glass from a 1965 Bally 776 slot machine to change the neon tubes. I haven't yet found a copy of the Bally Manual No 200 though I have found quite a few generic instructions. All the instructions I can find ...

Bally (Super) Gold Award - maintenance

Hello again everyone, I recently acquired a (1965) Bally 776 (Super Gold Award one arm bandit). I would like to be able to do a little maintenance work on it and I'm trying to make/buy an extension lead so that the mechanical assembly can be operated whilst removed from the cabinet. This must be qui...

Re: Anyone remember these large multi-players?

Remember playing the Film stars model as a young lad on holiday at Butlins. It was Clacton or minehead, not sure now? What I remember most is that on one bank of coin entries, the lock outs where not working and this allowed me to place a bet one the winning light had already stopped. Needless to s...

Re: Anyone remember these large multi-players?

My favourite in the 60s was the (Crompton ?) 3d Derby. It was a monster, perhaps 7ft across and took the old 3d pieces. It had about 8 betting sections each with two independent 3d slots with a central horizontal 4ft circular table that rose about an inch, rotated and then settled down to show winne...

Re: Bally 776 Super Gold Award Bandit

Thank you for your fast reply and the manual. As it happens I had already trawled the internet and found this manual. Sadly it doesn't cover the 776. However I'm fairly sure a lot of the information will be common between the em varieties. In the meantime, the search goes on..... Thanks again for he...

Bally 776 Super Gold Award Bandit

I just wondered if some kind soul could point me in the direction of a service manual/parts list for a Bally Super Gold Award one arm bandit. I believe, but am not certain that the model number is 776 (a variant of the "standard" Gold Award bandit).

Thank you in Advance.
