Does anybody have or know where to get the postcard size instructions that sits behind the "front/rear" position pointer?
Your help would be appreciated.

Re: Tinnie Mutoscope bevel gear

Thanks for your suggestions. I will dig out an old drill brace - could be lucky and find that the gears are a match. Failing that, I will try the epoxy putty trick. I have used this when repairing the castings on my clutching hand machine, but it was a non moving part. I will also loctite some small...

Tinnie Mutoscope bevel gear

I have a tinnie Mutoscope and the bevel gear that drives the coin chute mechanism has broken a tooth. The bevel gear has 21 teeth and measures 1.43” (36.31mm) at the biggest diameter. I have been unsuccessful in obtaining an off the shelf replacement. I could get it re-manufactured or possibly I cou...

Genco Hoops - and ideas?

Topic merged - Site Admin. Can anybody help me please? I'm restoring a Genco Hoops machine that's in a poor state. The mechanism to flick the ball is a bit Heath Robinson. When the handle is struck it pushes the ball delivery arm up, but the handle travel is limited to 35mm and I assume relies on t...

Re: Machine lighting

I'm not a electrician but here goes - Some years ago I had a problem with the small strip fluros when renovating my juke box. I replaced the starters with FS-U, 4 -80Watt starters (typical large size fluro tube startes) that in theory should have worked, but didn't. I was advised to use S2, 4 - 22Wa...

Re: Penny Pusher - help needed

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and information - makes interesting reading.

My tip of the day - don't use a blow torch to strip paint off whilst in the vicinity of the washing hanging up to dry. The blackened tea towel took some explaining!!

Mini-Pusher, Aladdin's Lamp & Davey Jones' Locker

My next project is to restore this Penny Pusher. I have 3 questions for the experts out there and would be grateful for your help and advice: 1. Does anyone know the maker of this machine and when it was made? 2. The 'penny distribution' panel / chute is missing so I need to re-make it. Does anyone ...

R&W Ice Hockey - Instructions needed

I have just completed restoration of a Ruffler & Walker ice hockey player. Does anyone know if they originally came with instructions inside the table (as you get with pinball machines). If so, can anyone provide me with an image of the original instructions, so I can reproduce them to make the ...

Re: Snap

Malc - thanks for your input. The machine is bigger than a bar top - it's about the size of a standard Allwin, but double the depth. Yes, it does run on old pennies. The vendor was asking £350!!!!

Does anyone have any clues on the top - flash or light that is missing?

Thanks

SNAP Machine

(Snap topic merged - Site Admin) I have been offered a SNAP wall machine in working condition. Can anyone give me any information about them? There are two holes on the top of the cabinet, approx 50mm in diameter. Would there have been lights or a top flash? What would be a reasonable amount to pay...

Pussy Shooter

I need some help with my 'British American' Pussy* Shooter. I think there are some bits missing related to the area where the gun sits (see image). I surmise that there should be a piece of horizontal glass that fits between the two brass slots and either a glass or perspex shield that would have a ...

Isle of Man Grand Prix Steer-a-ball

Has anyone got any photos of the playfield and / or the backboard for one of these machines? The cabinet is metal, and the playfield is a one piece aluminium casting.

Any info on the manufacturer, dates etc. would be appreciated.

Bingola - Help Needed

Can anyone help me get my Bingola to work? Symptoms are - when you have a winning line, the bell rings but doesn't stop ringing, and it doesn't pay out. A man with pinball machine expertise is looking at it, and has diagnosed a problem. Pinball man thinks there should be a device which should pulse ...
