Re: BMCo Little Marvel identified

Interesting door 13rebel, I have not seen a BMCo with such a large radius to the inner top part of the door frame, or the sculptural elements above them.

Re: BMCo 7 cup

Lovely looking machine Geoff, seems to have had its internal brass cleaned up (I have not seen one of these old machines with such clean internal metalwork). I believe BMco called this variant the Little Wonder and with its top lock and lift out door suggests an early machine. BMco also produced a ...

Re: Rubber bump stop

I have always cut an old flexible rubber to shape and it appears to do the job, however, if you have a 3D printer or know someone with one, flexible rubber filaments are obtainable (TPE filament) so any shape/size could be printed to suit the machine in question. Model makers often use these filame...

'British Automatic Company Calibre Recording Booth' Back in the early 1960s there was a booth located just along the road from RAF Lyneham main gate, perhaps BAC thought that the airmen on the base would be good punters as they staggered their way back from the local village pub. You are right Mr p...

Re: Scratch Built Gap-Win

Just a thought ollie h, as it is such a good reproduction, will you date the machine or put some kind of inscription inside. It is easy for us all to recall in say 10 or 20 years (if we are still here) 'oh yes olli h made that' but in 50 years time?

Absolute amazing job you have done ollie h. Very skillfully done. You should be very proud. I am sure William Bryan would be impressed with your work. It is great to see that there is still such skill out there - well done.

It is often the case that some 'minorities' bang the drum loudest, shout the loudest, lobby the loudest and in consequence get heard.

Re: Pete Barson wall machine identified

Saw this Pete Barson 'Smithy' machine at Bygone Times in Ecclestone a few months back. The arcade was mainly closed off for refurbishment, only a few machines available to play. As can be seen, the small sign on the machine states 'Made in England c1900'. Humm...... Have to say that at first glance...
