Re: Wulff Primus free play help needed

I have played with the machine, the coin is holding and releasing when handle is pulled.
I still can’t work out how the handle still pulls when no coin is present.

Re: Wulff Primusfree play help needed

The most likely cause of this is a coin jammed in the coin acceptor, which will give free play... Check this first... Do the coins bunch up when adding more in the chute? I have just removed the mech and tipped all of the coins out of coin tube. There are no coins left in and new coins flow through...

Wulff Primus free play help needed

Hi all
I have a Wulff Primus circa 1958 working on the old penny. It works and pays out, but also works without putting a coin in. Does anyone know if the free play can be switched off and how this is achieved?
Thank you
Bill.

Re: Calamity Gulch 2p pusher problem

I can't see any solenoids but there are three old type tremblers like small hammers on a strip of metal which touches another strip when they move. I tried adjusting these to no avail. Still yet to check all connections.

Re: Calamity Gulch 2p pusher problem

I have checked the coin boxes and there is nothing that they can push against. The door does not appear to have anything attached that would trip if not closed correctly. It's possible that something has gone faulty as i have carried out the same procedure a few times and not had this problem. The t...

Calamity Gulch 2p pusher problem

Hi Folks I acquired a Calamity Gulch pusher circa 1970s a couple of weeks ago and all was well until yesterday. I opened the bottom door, emptied the coin boxes and locked the door again. When i switched the machine on, the tilt alarm started along with the flashing tilt lights. There does not appea...

Re: Rotolite problem

Rotolite is now working, the problem was a broken solder joint on the rectifier. Thanks for the support.

Re: Rotolite problem

Thanks for the advice. I will have a look and let you know how I get on. For the short time it worked the bell did ring when a win was secured.

Rotolite problem

Hi Folks I recently bought a Rotolite from the Central England auction in Coventry. The machine may be known to someone on this site. Anyway it worked for five minutes and now when switched on a couple of lights come on but nothing else happens. Does anyone have any ideas or is there maybe a wiring ...

Good news! The problem has been solved, with all thanks going to Badpenny. It appears that the mech may have been dropped as the bottom casting was slightly buckled. Once certain screws where loosened, things started moving. What he has done to solve the problem, is to place two shims, one between t...

Many thanks to you all, it looks like i will have to get it to someone who may be able to sort it if they physically have the machine in front of them.
I would appreciate it if anyone can point me in the direction of such a person within a reasonable distance of Doncaster.

Here we go then I have followed the instructions and found that the button is not sitting correctly! Have tried adjusting the wedge to no avail. However as the button mechanism is on like a pivot and rocks, in the down position it is resting on another part inside machine which stops it sitting down...

I have had a play and found that it appears that the fingers, which locate in to the slots on the sides of the cogs are fouling the first cog. When the handle is pulled the fingers move back to allow the cogs to freely rotate but they do not appear to move back enough to disengage the last cog.

Have had a look at both of these suggestions, there nothing lodged anywhere and the kicker plate does not appear to be causing the problem either. When i put a coin in and pull the handle down gradually, all reels in turn become free. When the mechanism finaly engages the second and third reel spin a...

Watling rol-a-top Reproduction.

Hi I am new to the forum and wondered if anyone can point me in the right direction for solving a problem. I have a repro roll-a-top which has worked fine for about 4 years. I recently went on holiday and unfortunately left the key for the bandit with in easy reach. The kids will not admit it but so...
