Re: Ebay fees scrapped !!!
Reading tf comment about paying online only, does that mean that should I win a machine I would have to do online banking [no thanks] ,taking a smart phone with me [which I don't have] and thus completing the deal on the doorstep so to speak? Alternatively pay upfront with debit card as I would ...

Re: Ebay fees scrapped !!!
So one of the most important changes this month is the eradication of cash sales. If you now select collect in person, they have now removed the payment on collection option. Payment for all sales is now online only. Another step towards a cashless society… To be fair I rarely use cash, but o ...

Re: Ebay fees scrapped !!!
Looks to be the case for private sellers from today. I am not surprised as since the announcement of data being sent to HMRC, I have noticed a huge drop off in items listed. I have not listed anything for 18 months, mainly due being screwed by an idiot who claimed they never received something and ...

Re: BDR 'Breadbin' bandit
Maybe I had missed this, but there is a name these bread bin BDR machines had that seems to have been lost: “Fresh Fruit”. An operating manual appeared on eBay the other day. Part of the content was shared. Maybe the new owner will load the whole thing into the Resources. ;-) Still nice to put a nam ...

Re: Triple Crown
Well, cleaned all contacts and put it back together. Wiper 3 still has no movement; wiper 2 now keeps going around, and token still pays every pull. On top of that, once the coin acceptor is triggered it seems to offer free play. :HaHa: I noticed relay 3 and 4 energise as soon as the power is turned ...

Re: Triple Crown
Ah, explains why wiper 5 keeps going 'round and I can see it links to the relays for the other wipers. I have isolated the faulty motor and plugged it into the mains direct and, bugger me, it works. So it is not getting power… One side is connected to the chassis with everything else  and the ...

Re: Triple Crown
I have taken the wiper and panel off for a better view. I think they colour match the wires even to the door, so for example, the yellow wire is the token vendor and the orange is the normal chute… So relay 1 seems to tie to the payout I am guessing. Going to take apart all the relays and clean the c ...

Re: Triple Crown
Thanks Stuart, I have done another video showing the relays and wipers in current state… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgbIcOqAL_8 Relay 4 kept closing except when power was disconnected and meant Wiper 2 kept spinning, I seem to have stopped that now as per video. No, not tried the motor in q ...

Re: Triple Crown
One thing I have noticed, and it's a little hard to see, if I am correct, from your photo?? Check out the relays, No 2 and 3 counting from the left hand side. The contact points should be open when the relay is at rest, and they should close when power is applied. It might be worth checking this ...

Re: Triple Crown
I was getting ahead of myself... So although coin operation is fine, when it runs the wiper on top the left seems to time when to stop the others running, but on completion pays a token on every winner. Also the bottom wiper, which I have yet to discover what it is for, keeps on running… Also s ...
