Re: Coventry or Collectors auction

Although my Mechanical Memories arcade is now closed, I shall still be operating machines in Brighton - at my 'Number 2' arcade, where I shall hopefully be able to open on 17th May. It won't be anywhere near as time consuming as previously, but I shall still need to go down to Brighton a couple of ...

Re: Mills clone

Not sure what decals you mean, but the award plate has been modified for the change to the 2p coinage, looks hand done. The jackpot would have been the window at the bottom in white, which will have been removed, again when coming through decimal conversion. The top sign would have had some other aw...

Re: Coventry or Collectors auction

That's only my opinion TF. Soon one weekend, I may end up sitting on my own at home while it's all going on in Coventry and/or Derby. JC and/or MH might suddenly announce they're intentions and put me to shame. One of you guys may decide to do something. I fear this situation could well keep bounci...

You can move the rod from the end where the clip is, you may have to move the coin return lever

Re: Coventry or Collectors auction

That’s that then...... :!?!:

I suspect with the lack of auctions and crazy high prices, it is just as easy to sell at normal auctions at the moment, plus you don’t have to drive for 3 or 4 hours.......I will be attending my first one next week, back to normality thank god

Re: Coventry or Collectors auction

It would nice if the J’s could run an auction at Coventry, I would certainly support it with a couple of machines. Unsure about Steve’s new idea, still no mention of fees, and closed book bidding surely does not get the maximum amount for the seller. 2 people wanting a particular machine can realis...

Coventry or Collectors auction

I did prompt the J’s on the topic around what is happening at the Elephant a few weeks ago on that thread , but may have been missed. Anyway with the latest news from the Elephant house, I am getting the impression there is no plan to start any auctions there any time soon and wondered what the appe...

Re: Aristocrat Bingo Clickety Click

The red screw is just to tighten the rod, so just loosen slightly and undo the two nuts to remove.

Might be worth checking the kicker once the bundle is out, common issue on aristocrats is old grease gunking them up

Re: Aristocrat Jackpot Conversion

The machine is not near me at the moment and I can't find a photo, but it is on YouTube. Problem is, videos seem to get darker over the years on that site, so I tried to highlight a snapshot below. If you want more detailed pictures, I would need to take them when next to the machine. I have only se...

Re: Aristocrat date from serial number?

Good question, one of many that have been confused over, as you see with this thread. I don’t know the answer, but would hazard a guess they mixed it up over the years, sometimes forward and sometimes backwards.....so would guess your machine is Jan 1965
