Re: Ripplers: repro & real

Over the years, the continued appearance of repro ripplers has gone by unnoticed, but I saw another one sold today at the same place Manders Auctions I bought my Fruitbowl for just under £400, but what is odd is three other versions sold at the same auction house since 2019, the previous in February...

Re: Firmans

Nice story and history Jeff. Thanks for sharing and oh, wouldn’t it have been lovely to have seen those old parts left in the store rooms. :o Funny, over the years when family members of old slot machine companies have shared similar stories on here and how little survived like paperwork and picture...

Re: Duo mat clockwork question

You could soak in cleaner product. I have never needed to, and cleaned with white spirit etc... The main cause of clocks sticking is the governor, which you can strip, clean and refit. You can adjust speed with the screw on the end.

They all look the same. Two makers of period power connectors used by fruit machine companies from ’50s to ’70s wer...

Re: Deci King reel spin?

So we are talking about the right parts here - when you say horizontal payout finger, you are talking about the stack of 6 or 5 horizontal ones that each have a spring at the back? If so, and you say it moves away from the slides, but springs back so it locks the slides after a win. First question, ...
