Personally I prefer auctions to fixed prices sales. People have bizarre ideas on the value of their machines and wonder why they don’t sell.

Totally agree. There's so little info about old slots, anything posted will be useful. I've got a couple of machines working that I would have not been able to had it not been for info that people had posted on this site. I've been sorting through some boxes today, & come across a couple of old flye...

I made this out of an old pinball machine playfield support, but a big screwdriver works just as well.

That's exactly what I did Treefrog. After a bit of careful measuring, I cut slots in the right place with a Dremel cutting blade, then filed out the excess metal.

By the way, your award not only gives usual card symbols as awards with Aces being jackpot, you also have the Aristocrat symbol as the Jackpot... This was often seen on later machines with the Crown symbol and Aristocrat word... Do you have this on you reel strips, as all the ones I have owned stop...
