Re: French slot dealer
Hi there, there are no French slot dealers because slot machines are still prohibited in public areas in France except casinos since 1937... But if you ask collectors, you may find what you are looking for... In this particular case, an original Paris-courses topper, I don't think you will find anyo...

Re: Coin-ops at Harrods
It is interesting to see on the bottom right a game named "The Success", although the real French name is written in the middle of the game illustration " CO-CO-RI-CO" (cock-a-doodle-do). A game like this was sold at Nic Costa's auction. There are 3 different versions - the most ...

Hi Nigel,
It is always good to keep some activity when you retire!
But I suggest maybe you can rush a little to have it ready in 20 years... for the 100 year anniversary of the crane!

Re: Seven mysteries of the Saxony allwin
Unfortunately, I don't! I got a batch of advertising flyers from the grand son of a French Riviera distributor who was mainly in activity in the '20s and '30s. In this batch, I can date precisely some of them from being printed from 1912 to 1936... For sure not after 1937, as gambling machines were ...

Re: Domino / Lucky Dice / Le Juge de Paix
Where do you know from that the ad is from 1912 ? Well, I dated the ad 1912 on my website to illustrate the date of first production of the game, not the ad. In fact I can't give a date of the ad I have... the only thing I'm sure is that I bought the ad from a grandson of a distributor in Marseille...

I had the opportunity to visit Dave Berten in Chicago !
Dave is a very professional and reliable person who will always do the best to satisfy the customers.
I guess if the website was improved he will probably be the world number one for slot machine parts !!
