Re: BMCo auto prize payout allwin signage?

PM, just going through my hardrives for some BMCo pics to email a friend and came across this rear photo of the same style flat topped marquee frame! And obviously the real deal as even correct brackets. Posted by you none the less back in 2013. Re: Mirror sign Is that a frame you own, and what mach...

Re: BMCo auto prize payout allwin signage?

Thanks PM, I never found that thread though did search quite hard on BMCo machines here. Just goes to show how unwieldy this place is getting with so much great info but often very disjointed. Thanks to you and the other mods for trying to keep things in some kind of order! That photo of the other m...

Re: BMCo auto prize payout allwin signage?

JP, what I like about "The Prize Cup" is it has a double meaning, not only describes the game but also alludes to what was given at major events, ie a valuable sterling silver cup, like the America's Cup, FA Cup, Davis cup, etc. And that seems to be in line with some of the known BMCo name...

BMCo auto prize payout allwin signage?

Currently have this rarely seen Auto-prize paying Allwin by BMCo in the workshop. I sold it 15 years ago and now the current owner wants me to service and sell on consignment. I've always been bummed I didn't have the time back then to build the missing marquee, all that was left was half a broken b...

Re: Caille / Clement & Whales Countertop disc machines

Henk, easy way to tell is remove a handful of different diameter bolts and check the thread gauge, if it's Caille they'll be UNC/F and British made will by BSW, and think the French made copies of Caille too so those would be Metric.

I couldn't figure that out either, for some reason it was turned into an operator refill instead of self refilling? That tube is far too high for any chute to get a coin there as would be almost horizontal.

Re: Hawtins Allwin

Looks hand painted over the original plastic and as it has not turned up before then likely a later operator mod.

Re: Allwin Elevenses ball hitting glass

On the machine I usually just use an adjustable spanner tightened to fit the end of the rail, helps to place masking tape on the ends of the spanner to stop scratching, also helps to place another larger spanner a little further back onto the rail which helps support the rail and allow you to get so...

Re: Allwin Elevenses ball hitting glass

After the 1st revolution the 3 o-clock position is fed by the second rail that ends at around 1 o-clock, so that is likely the culprit, either it's twisted, or bent too far down which will cause the ball to bounce off the brass deflecting rail just to the left, or bent too far up which will cause th...

Re: Oliver Whales - Players Please

Hey PM, my comment was just about the two colors the machine came with. This photo below of a pale blue sign comes from this site and matches the playfield perfectly. But I've seen the same pale blue on quite a few yellow background machines. Maybe when they changed background colors they kept using...
