TF,in your last photo there is a slotted screw acting as an adjuster for the gap of the 12/24 payout finger so as to make it easier or harder to win. Perhaps not too dissimilar to one arm bandits being doctored by the use of 'bugs' so the payout fingers would slide off winning symbols or washers to blank off winning holes coupled with change of symbols to lessen the return to player percentage. I can't shed any light on its originality but perhaps with the 12d payout, operators felt the return to player percentage at 68.6% was a little high. With the 10d version it would be reduced to 66.3%, doesn't sound much difference but over the course of £1 inserted in the mid 1960s that's about an e...

Looks like a 'Waltonian Merchandiser' by Alfred Leonard Walton of Blackpool in the 1930s. I believe they are too wide to go through a standard door, so that may hold their value back.

Great job and as BF has said, better to keep the original than use a copy. Brave of you to use the oven method but by including the method it may encourage others to be equally brave.The idea of leaving the paintwork on the back as it is in case you can't match it I think is good too.
