Re: French Curved Crane in US

As it turned out, the corner crane wasn't the only crane they made. They also made a crane called 'Le Pont Neuf'' One sold 21-08-2021 on ebay.uk As I can see on the pictures from the Boudet store they must have made at least 3 different cranes: La Vraie de Vraie Le pont Neuf and I believe antoher cr...

Lighthouse Grip

Hi,
Does anyone have a Lighhouse grip from Quested Automatics and/or provide me with a picture from the coin acceptance shute/unit?
Mine is missing, and I would like to recreate it. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Helicopter Race

Last week I restored both helicopters from my R&W Helicopter race. Thought it would be nice to share some pictures. Both mounting point cracked overtime, most likely because the weight from the floats and copper bracket (for mounting the floats) isn't supported / attached to the mounting point. ...

Casting Mills Owl strength lifter

Hello, Who has the option to help me? I'm looking for a casting from a Mills side door and an enamel/porcelain instruction plate for a Owl strength lifter. (see attached images). In case of the casting it can be a (repro) casting or someone who's willing to lent me a one, so that I can recast it mys...

Re: Bonzini & Sopransi corner claw

The corner crane is possibly not made by Bonzini et Sopransi. The letters on the front are B&G, castings and mechanics are also different from the B&S cranes. There are at the moment, 2 corner cranes know by me, the one in the USA (which I bought in Belgium, but when I went to collect it, it...

Re: Two diggers on ebay ...

Must be a scam. I know that both diggers are located in Belgium, seen the restorations and know who owns them at the moment. Second is that I bought the two Mutoscope Electric Travelling Cranes and Novelty Merchantman (seen on one of the pics in that auction). Look at the last pic in that auction an...

Re: Original crane fills

Hello, I restored several cranes, some of them stood still from before WWII. I noticed that some were filled with dried peas, corn or other (I guess they used what was available). From the seventies till now they used plastic beats / granulet? (excuse my English). In the early years most of the cran...

Re: Buckley Digger

Hello Nigel,

Just bought the same model (in very bad condition although mechanism seems original and complete) but I'm missing the metal top and side doors. If you have pics for me from the top and how it's constructed, I can help you out with the mechanism.

Regards.
