Re: What type of slot machine is this!

The condition it's in is just what collectors look for and I doubt there is much wrong with the workings, as tom says a specialist site would be best for selling. if your interested to know more about the machine and the company that made it take a look here https://www.penny-arcade.info/the-mills-c...

Re: Emma Raducana

absolutely amazing, she has set several records that can't be broken, the first qualifier to win a grand slam, the first person to play 12 matches in a grand slam, the first person to play 24 sets in a grand slam and not drop a set. Other interesting facts, she became a millionaire (both $ and £) in...

Re: Long stored Mills mech reels don't spin

Everything Tom says above is good advice. As he says, removing the reel bundle is not difficult (but fiddly). Yes, it will need cleaning, but the added advantage is you will be able to clean a lot of hidden areas as well. Remove the coin tube. This is one (hard to access) bolt to the right of the up...

Re: Watney's Red Barrel!!

Now the top glass is finished the wording is clear, and it is interesting in its own way. A 5/- token, but only to be used in that pub, so with Red Barrel being a little under 2/6 at the time you got two pints - not too bad a prize really for a 6d play, although of course, the 2 pints didn't cost th...

Re: Watney's Red Barrel!!

I now have the machine, and I love it. It works fine but needs a good clean, the chrome is great and only needs a polish, I might spray the case. I don't remember the other one I used to own having this payout set up. only one slide, a single barrel shifts the slide halfway and pays 2 (advertised as...

Re: Shortages having a knock on effect for us?

that's crazy! I can ship a trade stim, by air, FedEx 2 day delivery, from the UK to Canada for £56.50 :!?!: If I increase the insurance to £250 (which I most likely would not) it only goes up by £10,
is it really THAT much more expensive to ship in the other direction?

Re: Shortages having a knock on effect for us?

this is because a lot of people across the pond don't think we have a postage system in Europe. they think everything is delivered by a runner with a cleft stick. I've had more than one company in the US tell me they couldn't possibly post me a product because they wouldn't know where to begin to po...
