I wouldn't be surprised if the "thoughtfully placed hole" was doing exactly that job when this machine was last in use.

Re: Joe Buric Mills 'Bell Fruit' prototype QT bandit

When you're used to seeing bandits sharing the same internal designs (Groetchen & BDR excepted) it's great to see something so different: a small but proper escalator in the same style as Buckley made one, rather than the original Mills, the clock mounted vertically, a few hints of the trade sti...

1963 Mills Bucket of Blood

I've seen some odd slot machine themes, but mostly modern-day. I really can't see this 1963 Mills "Bucket of Blood" theme being a big crowd puller. I can't quite make out the special symbols on the belly glass. Anyone know?

Re: Mills Bell Fruit prototype bandit

The piece was designed by Joe Buric, former chief engineer for Mills Novelty Co. who designed the QT series in th...

Re. 1966 Royal Crown

Post split, moved & merged from Re: Bell-Fruit Manufacturing Co. bandits - Site Admin. Here is another unusual bandit being sold in the USA. I know we have talked about these UK machines with the '60s auto-mobile chrome bits added before, but I've never seen one quite like this one. Looks very ...

Re: Mills Bell Fruit prototype bandit

Now that is an interesting bandit. Not the Bell Fruit Co we know here I think. Mini reel strips and a small machine all-round, yet it shows a jackpot window (false? I can see no JP payout on the award card) and it shows an escalator window (false again? perhaps not on closer inspection) and what's w...

Re: Deci King reel spin?

Just to answer an early question you asked, the horizontal fingers have to move away from the slides while the slide brake is still holding the slides back and stay there. As Tom says, the master slide has most likely been bent to solve the problem. Now you have put it back to the correct position. ...

Re: ID which brand/model is this allwin ?

It may or may not be relevant in this case, but before WW1 the UK imported an amazing amount of stuff from Germany, especially pottery. This had always been stamped "Made in Germany". After WW1 there was a huge backlash from the UK public, who refused to buy German products, and German mak...
