Re: Sega Diamond Three Starr with bottom JP
You need the "Mills Owners Pictorial Guide", the only book on the machine you will ever need, but it's not cheap anymore. https://www.amazon.com/Owners-Pictorial-Guide-Understanding-Machine/dp/093442201X/ref=sr_1_1?crid=GP0732KOH53I&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.6WNnpdc0CYKldED44dpnWBwTJrBPEbJ0Dy1qzWvgqSogWccpe ...

Re: Kenmar Cash Shot
The customer has now started fitting the 6 glasses in the deep box front of the machine to create the 3D shooting gallery. Must say it looks good. Nice to see a machine brought back to life.

Re: The Old Man and the Sea?
For some reason that page on the "Maxx Grab" site really bugged me, so I emailed them saying that because it was so wrong it was misleading people who might be researching slots online. Today they replied saying that they have had concerns about the page for some time and have now removed it pending ...

Re: The Old Man and the Sea?
They got nothing else right in that article so no surprise they got that wrong. Something you never see in films of the steeplechase ride is that you got on at the bottom and were then hauled all the way to top, then released. They strapped you in at the bottom but all the kids undid the belt on the ...

Re: Hello from Virginia
Hello and welcome to the site. I'm in the process of making an allwin backflash for someone in Virginia. Sounds like collectors of European machines are thick on the ground where you come from.

Those were the days, when you could stand on the side of the ring dispenser and watch kids fall happily from their horses or smash their hands into the dispenser as they overreached for the ring. Health and safety... who's he?

Re: eBay return scam
This type of thing might get worse now that Ebay has stopped charging fees as in the past a seller cancelling a sale still meant they were charged the full selling fee. Now of course, no fee to pay.

Re: Calling all Slot Experts
Although VERY unlikely these days, this used to happen at small auctions (not big ones like this) back in the days when the only bidders at an auction were in the room. Two identical items came up and the first went very high as two bidders fought for the item they came all that way to get, then ...
