Re: Das Henkeltöpfchen

Sweetmeats,
The machine does not pay any tokens. It simply pays whatever coins/tokens you put in.
Once inserted, the coin/token rolls down the visible chute until it reaches the dented payout wheel.

Re: Wilhelm Fürst coin flicker

Hi Youngerap, I'll do some digging in my hard drive for you, as the actual machine is currently dismantled in 100 pieces in my attic (the cabinet was covered with very thick coats of ugly brown paint, and I had it stripped). Let me see what I can come up with (no promises!). Any particular part you ...

Re: Wilhelm Fürst coin flicker

For what it's worth : I own a 'Das Henkeltöpfchen' also called 'Oorglaasje' (1927, Wilhelm Fürst) and it works on the German 10 pfennings coin.

Thanks Gameswat,
Had not thought of doing it myself. It's a good idea I guess, but to be honest I don't think I have the skills to achieve something convincing enough... But thanks anyway.

Oliver Whales EASY PERM - Missing the arrow...

Dear All, I recently bought this lovely Oliver Whales Easy Perm. It is in stunning condition, but as you can see on the picture, it is missing the arrow above the payout knob. Would love to complete this machine, so am looking for a spare one (preferably an original, but would consider a good qualit...

Re: Scrap metal allwin

Great job, jonathans257 ! Am curious : does it pay when you win ? If so, can you describe the payout mechanism ? You did not seem to go the classic 'payout tube & slide' route. Am very curious & interested to see what design you came up with. Anyway, congrats. Looking forward to seeing that ...

Re: Scratchbuilt copy of Cascade type game

I just love those dropcase machines !. Tobias Ballman (http://www.t2balli.de) used to sell all the necessary bits to built this kind of machine (complete kits with detailed instructions, trips, case, coin acceptor, etc...). He also had tons of pictures of similar projects. Unfortunately, his website...

Re: War Eagle - reproduction or not?

The other way is the jackpot check plate is solid , not removable. Too expensive to make that part seperately now. Hi, Sorry for my ignorance, but which part is the " jackpot check plate " ? (could it be, by any chance, the small corner-shaped vertical plate on the front casting of the ma...

Have always wanted one! I think they are really neat.
Maybe I am pushing my luck but.... you would not have a video of the inside mechanism in action, would you ?

Thanks, Christophe.

Re: Whats My Line or Many Happy Returns pictures please

Hi, I also own a What's My Line. I shall take some pictures of the inside and will post soon. Any particular part of the mech you are interested in ? Sorry, I can't measure the size of my balls (--errr, did I actually write this ?) as I don't have the tool for that... I'll be back soon. Christophe W...

Re: Gold Awards and Reel Strips for Pace Comet Orange ?

Thanks tree-frog for the suggestions. I have contacted Bernie Berten as I also need a few other parts for my various machines (springs, cashbox, award cards, etc...). Let's see if he reverts. If you could locate and provide the contact number for Krahl, this would be great too ! Are they based in th...

Gold Awards and Reel Strips for Pace Comet Orange ?

Dear Alll I have just bought this little Pace Comet, and will probably have a few questions in the coming days... Right now, I am looking for Gold Awards . I suspect finding original Pace Gold Awards will be tough as I read somewhere that these were rare... - Does anyone know where I could find some...

Re: Ball Release Mechanism

I know that this thread is very old, but I thought I'd post here rather than creating a new post. What about if you want to release a ball at the top of a cabinet is the easiest way to have a tube of balls and have a mechanism like a cog to push one in from the bottom so it pushes one out from the t...

Re: New Steve Hunt auctions

Yes, I think I read that somewhere else in this forum too. Was that not due to some law/regulation about the maximum amount which a machine was allowed to pay out ? That's sad, because a bandit without its original jackpot is... well... It makes this beautiful machine somewhat less desirable (to me,...

Re: allwin type machine - Elite

Hi Jimmycowman, I saw that one too, but let it pass as it seemed to be missing a few essential parts --namely a few brass parts that act as trips or levers to keep the coin wheels from spinning, as well as the jackpot release at the bottom (but maybe it's just the picture that's not clear enough...)...

Thanks for your input. As suggested, I shall treat the worms (well, actually the wood !) ASAP, just in case. Woa! gameswat, your technique sounds impressive !!. Am curious to see the end-result of such a restoration. However, it is also very scary (so many things which could go wrong, and ruin the w...
