Re: Sailor, model & crane

Pics of the Pompey Dockyard machines, the Grab machine is still there but as I thought it was gone I didn't 'order' a pic of it so will get one later.

Re: The Bingo Star

Hi Malc Thanks again, will take a look, not had chance to have a proper look yet, working on which combinations do not pay out as you suggest. I'm OK with electrics if it's 240v rewiring jobs but haven't had much to do with this type of internal wiring but I imagine the same principles apply, it's ...

Re: The Bingo Star

Hi Gameswat, cheers for the advice. Didn't realise that. Hi Malc, I've been looking earlier today at the payout forks and plates to see what they are doing to familiarise myself with them, along with the contacts. The servisol didn't seem to make much difference but no doubt it did more good than ...

Re: E-Bay Feedback - The interesting bits.....

You can now just click on the bad / neg feedback number and they all come up, probably been like that a while but found out by accident the other week after using ebay for ages and trawling through loads of pages just to read the Negs !

Re: The Bingo Star

Hi Badpenny Not too far, PM sent. Get to the High St once a fortnight when I have to (hate shopping and going to the bank!) Hi Malc and Gameswat, Thanks for the advice, will get a can of Servisol and try. I haven't used WD40 as my earlier searches found it's a no no! Yet nearly everyone that sees it ...

Re: The Bingo Star

Hi, thanks for the reply. I thought it may be a solenoid problem. I will take a pic in the week in the hope someone recognises it. I had hoped with this buy that the problem could be rectified due to 'simplicity' of age! As Tree Frog has stated, it would be such a shame if these type of machine were ...

Re: Sailor, model & crane

Hi,
I wouldn't have minded buying him for my porch! Last time I went was about 7 years back and he was at the rear of the arcade near the archery? and kiddies car circuit if I remember correctly. A shame he's gone after so long.

Regards

Re: The Bingo Star

Royal Sovereign has been on and off Ebay for the last few weeks, and as yet it is unsold Hi everyone, it's the Royal Sovereign that has led me to find this forum. Having many years ago sold a machine due to space restrictions (and broke my young son's heart with the sale!) Years have passed, he ...

Re: 3 machines

Hi everyone, new user here. In searching for help with a problem I came across this thread. I was in Pompey last year and have been in the cafe/shop numerous times but can't say I remember the grab, but the other 2 are still there in working order. I even feed the machine for the benefit of some ...
