Re: Aristocrat Clubman & Clubmaster
Afraid I can't shed any light on the handle return pump/no pump question as haven't ever seen a Clubman, Clubmaster or Aristocrat in the flesh.
As for the Aristocrat owner up-thread, if you see this please PM me.
Kindest regs,
A.P.

Re: Aristocrat Clubman & Clubmaster
Excellent TF, thanks.
Yes, lets hope the owner joins us - and lives in Melbourne!!!!
I'd be delighted to meet and view the machine. He/she can see my last seven as well. Reckon I'd swap my War Eagle, Mystery Golden, Governor or Ball Gum Vendor for their Aristo.

Some nice pieces there Bob and healthy prices too.
Perhaps not advisable to broach the complete illegality issue though.

Re: Jennings "Golden Nugget"
I really don't know TBH but suspect the middle cluster in your pic Cop are revamps. They just look far too new and shiny. I can spot a fake War Eagle from a mile away particularly by the award card, blanked JP and chunky handle being taller than the top of the case. Not well enough informed about Je...

Re: Aussie slot machines
G'day from Melbourne statesman.
If you'd care to PM me I can flick you some pics as I have a few 3-reelers left.
They're old mind - 1910, '29, '31, '34 and '65.
Have to let 'em go but they're not N&M or Aristos they're Mills, Watling and Jennings.
Cheers,
Andy.

Thank tf,
There's a chap I'm chatting with here who just rang me. He's visiting soon to see the other Coronet owner and has offered to take me along.
Shall update in a few weeks.

Re: Middlehurst Coronet
The discovery of this green one which was literally walking distance from my flat, plus the fact I'd actually spoken once donkey's years ago to the person in question who was extremely not/none-forthcoming still floors me. I know two people here now in Upsidedownland who have had dealings with said ...

Re: Middlehurst Coronet
I don't know tf, but I know the person who told me and also of the owner of the now known No4 just displayed both know who it was sold on to. An interesting fact I learnt today was that "several" were trialed in NSW clubs but the returns were poor due to the reel strip layout being far too...

Re: Middlehurst Coronet
'My contact' who discovered the whereabouts of this latest one suggests/confirms its owner is a very private person and does not want his location or any details sharing. Fair enough, lets respect his wishes but by golly it was a surprise in the old Coronet story to now know at least five were made....

I'd suggest it's a 1928/9 Poinsettia with a British Firmans lower front casting.

Spare Mills & Jennings spares
Just trying to clean up the garage and found a decent stash of old/new parts. Mills: Reel bundle, reel strips, slides, a jackpot, vertical fingers and Gold Award token vendor etc, Jennings: Back door and cash box.. If anyone in Melbourne can take them off my hands for a few slabs I'd be happy. Cheer...
