Re: BDR Bristol

Hi Badpenny,
Thanks for the advice, I like the machine. It would have been nice to have a manual for it, but I bet they are like hen's teeth.

You be careful with google & those tarts. lol

Re: Brighton Jukebox Show

I did not like a lot of the Jukeboxes. They looked like repros due to having all the chrome re-plated & CD players put in them. My jukebox has a few age related marks on it. This all adds to its appeal & it plays 45s. I too thought there would be more coin-op stuff. Still, it was only round ...

Re: Brighton Jukebox Show

I went as well - shame, did not see you, we could have had an over priced coffee lol
Some crazy prices for rubbish & yes plenty of strange people about. This will be my last visit. Was round & out in 45 mins.

Re: Unidentified bandit

Thanks for the help. It has a label on the base of the mech with 'Bell Fruit Mechanism Serial No.' Could not read all that, but I may be able to if I take the reel stops out of the way. I did put it next to my Mills Hi-Top mech on the bench. A lot of it matches very well. This little machine is grow...

I am going to pop in on Sunday afternoon. They had a few slots last year, so may be worth a visit.

Re: Unidentified bandit

The lady did say she thought it used to work on a 6d. It belonged to a friend of her other half's. It is quite a neat little machine - shame she did not have the cash box cover, but I'm sure I can make one. I've got it on bench now - I will take more photos. It would be nice to find out what it is &...

Re: Unidentified bandit

The lady is very genuine; her hubby bought pinball tables as well from the pier at same time. I have not had time to look at it properly, but I like it. Will probably keep this one.

Heather Mills !! !OMFG! :HaHa: Now I thought you had good taste BP :HaHa:
I've not had time to have a good look at the machine yet. I will take better photos when I strip it down. It would be nice to know the year of the machine. Maybe I will find something on it, under all that grease.

Re: picked this up today

Hi BP,
I have the slide, it was in the cash box. You have got keen eyes lol
The cover to the cash box is missing. I'm going to contact the lady I got it from to see if she has it. The machine belonged to her hubby - he passed away some years back.

Hi,
I picked up this bandit today. The person I bought it from got it from Brighton Pier years back.
I have not heard of these. Can anybody give me some info on it? !PUZZLED!
