Re: English penny machine
Hello andydotp,
Thanks for the information. Looking at the photo I could see the "Your" part but I couldn't make out the spelling of "Favourites". Obviously you cleared that up for me. Such a wealth of knowledge around here.

English penny machine
Topic moved & merged - Site Admin. Saw this on craigslist, thought I would share. I've never seen one like it - but that's not surprising considering my limited knowledge of slots, especially English machines. The wooden cabinet looks especially nice. Here is the link: http://minneapolis.craigs...

Re: Aristocrat questions
Isn't communication with an old git like me entertaining?........ yet at the same time boring Always entertaining (and informative), never boring. I agree with your de-gunking/clearance advice. I'm not at the stage yet where I can tear down the whole mech, do a thorough cleaning, and then reassembl...

Re: Aristocrat questions
Hello badpenny, Allow me to clarify concerning the last photo I posted of the kicker assembly on the left and the small, square plate with the rivets on the right. The kicker assembly itself, on the left, is new. The small kicker plate on the right is used. So, I have two kicker assemblies but only ...

Re: Aristocrat questions
Hello raj, Thanks for sharing your knowledge of these machines. I can use all the help I can get. Your "fast and sloppy" description struck a chord because in addition to the Aristo machine that we have been talking about, which is a dime(10 cent) model, I also have an Aristo quarter(25cen...

Re: Aristocrat questions
Does the kicker arm sit comfortably without the old face riveted on? Jeremy As the machine sits now, it has the old kicker installed without the face riveted on. I haven't tried installing new kicker without the face. Even without the face in place the old kicker still engages and spins the reels. ...

Re: Aristocrat questions
Hello everyone and thanks so much for your insight and suggestions. I know how hard it is to diagnose problems from afar without the machine in front of you( I used to do it for a living - not slot machines though). raj, you are right about the kicker plate not being square, I noticed the same thing...

Aristocrat questions
Hello all, new member here. Been looking around the site for a while, lots of good and interesting info. Just recently started taking an interest in slots and tinkering with a couple machines I had sitting in the basement for years. One of them is an Aristocrat model, not sure of the year. I have in...
