Re: Aristocrat Payout Slides Sticking

You need to remove the slides by detaching the springs behind them. Once removed clean them in warm soapy water. Reinstall them in the same order they came out.

Aristo Sweet N' Sour

Not sure if these made it to the UK back in the day. It's a 1977 Aristocrat Sweet N' Sour. One of the last mechanicals before they transitioned to hoppers, PCB's and credit displays. Whats interesting about this one is the "Feature" Get 2 cherries on the first 2 reels and it pays 5 coins. ...

Re: Aristocrat Payout help needed.

Ah, thanks for that :) Yeah there's just one finger that isn't retracting away from the disk far enough by like 1mm. The rest are fine. Changing springs doesn't help.

Re: Aristocrat Payout help needed.

Success! OK, forgive the lack or correct parts terminology, but on the pic below, I loosened the top bolt and tapped the tongue looking thing back so it was flush on the end. This allowed the reset bar to travel further forward and complete the cycle :) b50e8efe-03fc-431a-8ce2-f4c293502995.jpg Now, ...

Re: Aristocrat Payout help needed.

Yep, not sure on the technical name for the part. But you can see it in the pic below. It moves a little bit, but not enough to retract the fingers out of the payout discs. 20150918_091141.jpg I have a feeling I'm going to have to remove the reels to get a better look, but I'm a bit weary. Is the pr...

Re: Aristocrat Payout help needed.

OK, so I can eliminate the springs being the issue, as I replaced them all with good ones from my Aristo which is similar. What I did notice, is with all the springs off and cycling the mech. The bar that retracts the payout fingers advances forward as it should, but after the 4 reels click into pos...

Thanks!
Do you have a link for the springs?. All I can find are bags of 100 from the USA for crazy money.

Aristocrat Payout help needed.

Hey guys. I'm helping a mate here in AU with his Aristocrat "Super Star" 4 reel mech. He picked it up the other day and it was set up to play without coins. When I first saw it and gave it a spin, I observed the 4 reels clicking and locking as normal, No click for the payout fingers to loc...

Re: Aristocrat need to identify missing parts

Although these machines are from Aus, getting a matching mechanism I suspect will be a challenge.....I would have bought something complete as a project to restore maybe.....As Aristomatic mentioned, one of our fellow members from Aus may advise on availability.. Yep, gonna be very difficult findin...

Dating Aristocrats?

Hey guys. Is there a way to figure out the manufacturing date of Aristocrat bandits?. Just picked up a Money Tree which is a Mark 1 Regal. It has the plate on the side with serial number and a place for the manufacturing date, but it is blank. There's a bunch of numbers on the frame of the mech, but...

Are these hard to come by? I'm needing one for a Regal that's missing it entirely. :(

Re: Aristocrat Moneytree - reels not spinning

Can't help with your issue. But I can tell you your machine isn't a Money Tree. It's another game with a Money Tree belly panel, as I picked this up the other day :)

Re: Noob with an Aristocrat Regal "Honey Bee"

So the Honey Bee has arrived! Markings inside suggest it was made in 1975. Have had to do a crash course on trouble shooting already. Thanks to the excellent resources on this site along with the Aristocrat service manual, I was able to sort it out. The payout slides were pretty well gummed up with ...

Heh, I get this feeling there are no post 1970 Aristocrats over there :)

The Honey Bee is running on Aussie 10c

How about the Jubilee below. Now THAT is huge.

Re: Noob with an Aristocrat Regal "Honey Bee"

lol. Built to last! So the best way to move them is to break it down by removing the mech?

I'm in Australia BTW, so quads are pretty common. As are the 1970s Jubilees with the wood-grain panelling and jumbo top boxes. Yuk!

Noob with an Aristocrat Regal "Honey Bee"

Hi guys. Just thought I'd join up, as I will be picking up my first bandit in a week or so. The bandit is the last piece in the puzzle that is my gamesroom. I have four late '70s solid-state pinballs, an upright arcade, a cocktail arcade, plus a home-made jukebox cabinet. OK, well I need to keep sea...
