Re: Bussoz, La Girouette
There was a similar machine at the Nic Costa auction at Christie’s uk in 2006. I bid on it but it sold to a telephone bidder. It sold for £1,100 - £1,200 if I remember. You don’t see many come up for sale.

Re: Crazy auction weekend
Rolatop had replacement cabinet which stopped me looking any further. The figures looked pretty cool to me, especially the leprechaun.

Re: EH / Collector Connector sales
I’m not keen on bidding on items I can’t examine first hand. Someone else’s mint condition might be only good condition in my eyes. The CC website is a bit tricky to navigate and understand for an old git like myself. I can see Steve has put a lot of time and effort into getting his CC business up a...

Evening all... Is the upcoming Elephant House auction on Dec 4th a walk in event like in previous years or online only? Thanks.

Re: 3rd December Coin operated machine and Enamel Signs auction
Hi there, can you clarify for me how much would my final bill be if I won a lot at this auction for £500, I would pay by debit card in person. Thank you.

Re: Elephant House Auctions
The chap who bought most of the nice slots also bid up the four reel Mills high top. Not seen him before at an auction. Maybe he is on here and would like to introduce himself.

Re: EH Online only auctions
Only time will tell if it works or not. For low value items, not a big issue. For machines and such, I have seen many pictures online which flatter machines, only to find in the flesh they are in poor shape. An auctioneer will not list all the faults with an item. Why would they? Just saying.

Re: Elephant House Auctions
Last EH auction I went to, they had the trade stimulators lined up on tables in front of the auctioneers podium. Once sold, the machines and tables are removed to make space for people to sit and gather. Only interested in a couple of things this auction. Will be a very long day for me

Re: Coventry Spring Auction (24/03/19)
Well done to the organisers for holding this spring auction and giving people like myself the chance to add more clutter to our collections. I bought a little Columbia slot machine which I have already started tinkering with! I am also a bandit man, the wild Indian did look nice, however, my pockets...

Nice looking early jackpot machine, a Mills torch front. I would be interested but live too far away....
