Re: Covid 19 Duck Shooter Project

Looks good! I’ve never had a chance to work on or even look at the mechanism for these games. Care to explain how it works? What’s the mechanism for registering a ‘hit’? By inserting coin it resets gun so you get ten shots. The ducks rotate by mean of a 110volt geared motor, I've installed a transf...

Two bob?
I can imagine what the grown-ups would have said to that.
Is it a BANCo gun?
It's an ABT gun, giving 10 shots

Covid 19 Duck Shooter Project

Got bored so bought a few bits off eBay and went through spares box and come up with this.

It's my interpretation of a Duck Shooter.

Didn't have a 1d coin accepter but manage to find a 2 shilling one that works, it runs off 110 volts and you get 10 balls.

The Repair Shop BBC 1

Just watched the 'Repair Shop' on BBC1 [Series 4 Episode 5], if you want to watch it.

Where they restored a 'Win/Place' machine.

They made an excellent job of cleaning all parts but a shame they didn't replace back of cabinet and put some locks on it.

Re: 1935 Genco pinball voltage help.

I've just got a Genco Spitfire for restoration. I've replaced all wiring as it was in poor condition, tested solenoids all ok. In previous post it states 12 volt SLA battery is suitable but not what Ah the battery is. At present I am testing with a 12 volt low amp charger which works OK on one item ...
